Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 15.43/day in the week to Sep 2 → 19.29/day in the week after.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

When you can't even say my name Has the memory gone? Are you feeling numb? Go and call my name I can't play this game, so I ask again Will you say my name? Has the memory gone? Are you feeling numb? Or have I become invisible?

主角不能加速跑,不能往上跳,不能爬山,干啥都磨磨唧唧,中度残废的超级特种兵真的活久见。
不算重制
Best game of the franchise.
As a fan of the original game my opinions are biased but I could not play any more than I did because of the changes made to the controls and the humongous ammount of input lag present. The visuals are 5/10, generic UE5, uninspired, soulless. The legacy filter brings a bit of color and flavor but is still a far cry from the intentional grading of the original. The MGS5 character animations clash really hard against this games design. I didn't try the modern mode since I consider that 3rd person over the shoulder shooting is not the intended way to play this game and looking at other people playing it's laughable how little the enemies and bosses are able to do when snake can just keep aim and move at the same time. So I booted up legacy mode and... Snake can still move while aiming ( except when in first person) and there's crouching. So "legacy" mode is baffling to me as to how not like the original it is. The biggest change in legacy mode is the camera, which wierdly enough was 3rd person in every release since 2005. But worst of all are the controls of the legacy mode. It goes so against my instincts that I was struggling to press proper buttons due to my familiarity with the og. Having separate aim and shoot buttons are pointless for the legacy mode and just add extra things to press. You can no longer use left stick to aim in first person, nor can you use the d-pad for miniscule adjustments. It took me a solid minute of mashing everything to figure out how to lie down. All of this is of course a byproduct of being used to the og game, which at the time of release was criticised for it's controls so this is mostly a me issue. What is not a me issue is the ungodly ammount of input lag present in the game. Everything feels sloppy and floaty. The movement is just unbearable. Please do not disregard the original in favor of the remake. This is not a replacement. The original is not dated by any means at all, It looks like it should and plays like it should. The remake offers no improvment and only exists because some pachinko game in Japan which had some beautiful cutscenes was getting attention online and people screaming "remake dis" like they do with every 10+ year old games nowadays.
