14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

¡Juegazo!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Un verdadero patriota...
I have a tendency of writing essays for reviews so I'm gonna try avoid that here. Massive MGS fan, have been since childhood. Have 100%ed them multiple times on multiple platforms, delving into speedruns and challenge runs for the sake of it. I tend to lean negative when it comes to remasters and remakes, because I'm a bit of a nostalgia hound and the past is always rose coloured. But this is a very good remake. It is faithful to the original, treats it with respect, and was made by people who understand its original vision. Which is probably the most important thing when approaching a project like this. It is remarkably accurate. And the few changes that have been made, are either neutral or positive. They even went to the effort to remake niche easter eggs in detail, that the vast majority of players would never see. Tranq guns have always been too overpowered and so adding bullet drop was a good touch in my opinion. Camo percentages in certain areas with certain combos (ie, Woodland/Leaf in Grass) have been reduced from 95% to 90%, which is another good touch. GA-KO ducks give veterans something new to search for, whilst also keeping the kerotan where they are. Story is unchanged. Gameplay feels like MGS5 but with slightly less fluidity (ie, no ground rolling, sprinting or flattening against ground with triangle). Somehow, over the shoulder aiming doesn't really break game balance, but sometimes tranq drop can make certain bosses slightly more annoying. Snake vs Monkey being back is great, Secret Theater and the "film cartridges" from holding up certain "placed difficult" enemies is also great. It feels fresh, whilst still retaining most of the feel of the original. Which is a hard thing for a remake like this to achieve. The negatives for me, are performance, and modern engine UE5 reducing the "stylistic feel" of the game. I have a 3060 12gb, 16gb ram and an i7-9700, and it was perfectly playable on medium, but I did get noticeable frame drops in certain areas (graniny gorki lab was particularly bad, for some reason). They should've included more optimisation in the settings for players to tweak things. And in some scenes, as gorgeous as they are, new lighting and colour tone can slightly change the feel of things. One example, Ponizovje Warehouse in the original has a warm, reddish, hazy tone to it. In delta, even with Legacy Filter on (which I recommend, because the game feels too cold without it), it has a much colder, sharper tone to it. Darks are darker, lights are lighter. Sometimes the "vibe" changes a little. But this is not a dealbreaker considering how accurate 99% of the game is. Last negative, £70 is too much to charge, as good a time as I am having when 90% of gamers have already beaten the original. I think £40 or £50 maximum would've been good. But maybe I'm old school there. Last minus point, is if you're someone who's played the original a million times like myself, movement and actions are less snappy because snake has more "weight" to him. Picking up a guard and dropping him takes longer. Hold Ups take longer. Moving in a tight circle is harder. But, I guess this is the tradeoff of having more realistic and less "game-like" movement. I feel like the new style controls make some bosses easier (the pain, the fury), and some bosses slightly more annoying (the fear). Exploits and speedrun strats have also been patched out. No more "Fake death pill into Stun grenade into AK47" stam-killing The Fear for instance. But you can still poison him, so it's whatever really. I will also say that if they're to do something like this again in the future, they should spend a little more time matching faces to the originals. When you start playing, it's jarring how some of the characters look accurate from some angles and not others. It evens out the more you play but Snake without bandana looked weird. Ocelot definitely got hit hard with this. The Boss looks great in some scenes, and less-so than others. But I guess this is another consequence of doing stylised faces in a photorealistic engine. TLDR/Verdict: Faithful remake, made with love, minor tweaks here and there that don't alter the game enough to become egregious, but still manages to feel fresh. Definitely worth buying, just maybe wait for a sale because £70 is crazy.
ABSOLUTE ANIME.
Didn't really like this game, if you can even call it that. It's a really REALLY long movie - I got to play for 5 hours and cutscenes took 8 hours. Story was okay. The combat was mainly just stealth - pretty realistic but hard stealth. Optimization - no issues. Story - 7/10, Combat - 6/10, Optimization - 10/10. I'd rate it a 6/10.
Anyone who likes this game is a boring lame annoying person with autism. Everyone who i knows who likes this game has autism, this is like the trains of gaming. Cool af to people with autism, annoying af to everyone else. Ps. I hafe autism and i dont like this game but I'm the exception (like the paramore song only) not the expectation Let's start with the good. The game's over. Great news for me. Let's do the middle with the bad. First off, too many cutscenes this is like one of those porn games that have a lot of gooning scenes but instead of gooning scenes you got some boring ass lame ass cringe ass cheesy ass sleepy ass flat ass scenes that would fit in with a boring movie from the 80s. Legit this game peaks and falls after the opening cutscene. The cool parts of this game are ruined with how boring it is, every time i played this game i would need a nap afterwards. Combat, sucks boring as hell, sneaking, sucks boring as hell, Healing sucks not boring kind of cool actually but the way everything sucks around it, boring as hell. Story, cool at first, becomes boring as hell. Snake as a dude who I play as? lame as hell, he loves guns but you can't kill if youwant a good rating, he needs a #newjob. Eva, boring as hell lame written by a dude who doesnt know anyhting about white women, mid asf, I get that she's fan service, lame as hell I jerk it to real women only aka my wife. Plot twists? lame as hell. It's like if my dad and me fused and we made a game but then my dead mom remade every aspect but the story and made it lame as hell. Ending rating story 3/10 boring lame would never say someone needs to play this Graphics 8.5/10 amazing looking game Sound 6/10 music sucks little catholic boy penis, BUT sound design is pretty well I love the noises of the jungle. gameplay 1/10. boring i can run around no problem and just k.o people Personal enjoyment. 0/10 this was truly a chore. I thought gaming bottomed out at fatal frame 2, but this was much worse at least i enjoyed some of fatal frame 2, and i aint talking about the 15 year old girls #nodiddy.
