14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
Metal Gear Solid Delta is a reminder that a remake doesn't need to reinvent a classic to justify its existence. Sometimes the best approach is to preserve what already worked while using modern technology to make it more immersive for a new generation. What immediately stood out to me was how much respect it shows for the original's pacing and design. The environments feel more alive than ever, but they still encourage patience, observation, and creativity over brute force. Every successful infiltration feels like the result of your own planning rather than the game pointing you toward the correct solution. The atmosphere remains one of the series' greatest strengths. The dense jungle, subtle sound design, and constant tension create an experience where simply moving through the environment is engaging. It captures the feeling of being deep behind enemy lines without relying on spectacle alone. More importantly, the story has lost none of its impact. It's still a thoughtful exploration of loyalty, ideology, sacrifice, and the people caught between them. Those themes are just as relevant today, and the updated presentation only makes the performances and emotional moments resonate even more. Metal Gear Solid Delta succeeds because it understands why Snake Eater became a classic in the first place. It isn't trying to replace that legacy. It's preserving it with the care it deserves, and in doing so, introduces one of gaming's greatest stories to a whole new audience. It's an easy recommendation.

The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Playable on steam deck (just barely) but with Lossless Scaling (decky plugin) it takes it from 20-30 fps to 50-60 on low settings using FSR on performance. It is a smooth enough experience and enjoyable even when the graphics are absolutely nuked. Just went on vacation and played the time I have when posting this review and I was able to get pretty into it. For this reason I am giving the game a positive review however, it appears as though the game sacrifices the original art style and optimization for modernity. There are quite a few QoL changes and the new control scheme is nice but ultimately this kind of feels like a tech demo for Unreal Engine instead of a remaster. I picked it up for 25 bucks and it feels worth it enough but for anything more you should probably avoid this one and play the original. Realistically if steam had a middle option for reviews I would pick that.
Mmmm i like snakes
i nemici alcuni sono immortali il gioco e peggio di the division 2
un gran juego que revivió de una gran manera pero que triste que KONAMI allá dejado morir su multijugador con tan poco contenido y retrasos
Solid 🐍 Doesn't run the best on my hardware though
A very well done and faithful remaster of Snake Eater. This is the best way to play the first adventure of Big Boss. The new camera and controls are nice and the whole package is included. (Snake vs Money, demo theater). It ran very well on my system in native 4K with no studders.
Комедийный боевик на любителя. Отвратительное управление (играл с геймпада), глупый сюжет, фарс в чистом виде. Геймплей из начала века, сейчас смотрится потешно, денег своих игра не стоит.
After playing the original (well, HD remaster version) in the first Master Collection, I was really curious to see what Konami would actually do with this remake. Well… Now that I’ve finished it, I can safely say that I’ve had an absolute blast with it! It looks fantastic, plays great, and those new visuals are honestly stunning. Sneaking through the jungle has never looked this good! The biggest strength of this one that it understands what made the original so damn good and doesn’t try to mess with it too much. The Cold War setting, the jungle, the fantastic characters, the emotional story, the absurd Kojima moments… It’s all still here, and thankfully the whole thing retains that very unique flavor we know and love. I must admit, I haven’t played every single game in the series yet – so far I’ve only played the ones from the first Master Collection – but based on what I’ve experienced, I can already say that this entry is my favorite one so far. So yeah, I’m not exactly surprised that this was the one they decided to bring back! The quality-of-life improvements are another big plus. A lot of the little annoyances from the original have been smoothed out, and the controls feel much more natural this time around. There are also plenty of small surprises, extras and little touches that made me grin when I discovered them. Nothing revolutionary, but they’re the kind of things that make the experience feel nicely polished without completely rewriting the game. And that brings me to the slightly weird part: despite being called a remake, I think this version feels much closer to a really fancy remaster than a full remake. Think Dead Space (2023), Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake, or the 2024 version of Until Dawn. The foundation, structure, story and overall experience are still very much the original game. Compare those to something like Resident Evil 2 (2019) or the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, where the developers basically took the original and rebuilt it into something substantially different. Well, this “remake” isn't doing that. Not even close. And honestly? I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. The original one is already an incredible game, so keeping the core experience intact makes perfect sense. But it is something you should know before jumping in, in my opinion. If you've already played the original or the HD remaster, I'm not sure there's enough here to justify buying it again unless you're a hardcore fan or really, really want to experience the whole thing with gorgeous modern visuals. There simply aren't enough major changes to make it feel like an entirely new game, if you ask me. On the other hand, if you've never played any versions before, then what the hell are you waiting for?! 😂 This is probably the best possible way to experience one of the most beloved games in the series. The story is fantastic, the characters are memorable, the jungle setting is awesome, and that legendary theme song is still ridiculously catchy. I swear, I had that thing stuck in my head again. Some things never change! Overall, we got an absolutely fantastic game and a great way to experience this classic. Just don't go into it expecting a Resident Evil 2-style ground-up remake. It's more like an extremely expensive makeover, a new wardrobe, and a whole lot of modern polish. And you know what? I'm perfectly happy with that. 🐍
