About

A nomad wanders the far reaches of an overgrown megastructure, a world built for a forgotten purpose in which countless civilizations have lived entombed for ages.
But when the mech they use to traverse its vast distances breaks, they remain stranded in its hostile wilds beneath a concrete sky.

What an incredible an experince. the name of the game is atmosphere and it's pouring out of every single wall, celing and creves the game can possibly throw at you. Short and sweet, full price of like 8$CAd is a steal for this game
Really Fun Game. I love when games have gaint structures or creatures in then and wish there were more of those types of games. I really hope this story continues.

A very cool, although short experience ! I wasn't expecting much and in the end, I loved it ! Let's be honnest here, graphically, it won't blow you away (and you might think the game looks like a game made 30 years ago), the animations are pretty bad, you have 3 weapons (4 with the knife) gun fights are rigid and enemies aren't that smart either. BUT ... The level design is pretty cool with a few good secrets (it's just nice to find them because it's always ammo and med packs in there), you have a double jump and you can slightly slide on the ground which helps a lot and ... yeah, it's all about the experience and how you will feel as you see the the immensely huge structures. There isn't a single loading screen (except maybe the first one) the game is optimized and runs very well, most of the gameplay is shooting bad guys and jumping through different platforms. So, get it, knowing it's short, if you want to experience megatructures along with a pretty decent story. I definitely recommend it.
For a first game, this is amazingly made and super unique. The levels are well crafted and have enough backtracking to be engaging but not annoying. While the levels are linear it still feels explorative. The map is vast and expansive while still having a clear path to follow, it creates this excellent visual of what kind of world you are in. Its not often you see design like this, one that caters to atmosphere, all while still being a good gameplay experience. The guns are simple but I honestly like that about the game, gives me that old source game kind of vibe, the guns also have horrible iron sights and scopes and I personally love it, again sets that vibe right into place. (SPOLIER WARNING FROM HERE DOWN) While the atmosphere is great, the story isn't bad- but has a some to be desired. There's all these different corporations and governments set in place but not too much detail is given on them other than they exist and do this, and I understand that the game is short but I just wish maybe there was a bit more world building to hint towards their existence. And then there is the ending. The tonal shift is lovely and it felt like I was going somewhere that I wasn't supposed to be in, but other than that there were only walls of text to explain what is going on. No boss fight nor cutscene of any kind, just reading- and look I don't hate it, I actually somewhat respect that design, but yet- still felt.. meh. My reaction after beating the game was "oh that's it?" I think at the very least some kind of slideshow should be added at the end showing the vastness of the megastructure, or just something. All in all, I loved the experience, like I said you don't see games like this often and there was definitely a lot of love put into this project, it's quite beautiful to see.
Quite good. Really evocative in a lot of ways. I miss good shooter campaigns.
