About

A nomad wanders the far reaches of an overgrown megastructure, a world built for a forgotten purpose in which countless civilizations have lived entombed for ages.
But when the mech they use to traverse its vast distances breaks, they remain stranded in its hostile wilds beneath a concrete sky.

OH MY GOD. This is one of the best games i have played in the story alone, the lore is incredible and has infinite potential. The atmosphere, puzzles, enemies, weapons, all fantastic. Really short game but absolutely worth it. Buy the game to support the developer on making the sequel to this game!!

Short and sweet. Gameplay is functional, but this one's all about the vibes. If it's not obvious from the screenshots and trailer, you're in a megastructure and looking for a way out. You proceed through a linear game, fighting a couple different types of enemy and one boss, although there's branching paths in most areas that lead to more goodies (ultimately not needed) and just for the sake of exploring. There's the bones of a story, but the data logs you find here and there are more about fleshing out the world. The megastructure is bigger than you might think - a lot bigger. And it's been around for a lot longer than you might think. Ultimately, play this one if you're looking for somber, Brutalist vibes. Its aesthetic is roughly analogous to the original Xbox era, although gray instead of brown. Despite Brutalism not often being known for beauty, Metal Garden manages to look genuinely gorgeous at times and always fascinating. The developer did a great job of making the player feel like an ant in a land of giants and emphasizing the weight of history in the world around them.
What an incredibly unique atmosphere for a game. Definitely scratches an itch that no other game does, easily worth it's price for me.
great short atmospheric fps
这个很好不错
Solid game
Nails the megastructure archetypeand concepts. Good short game.
A small indie game that I found through a reel, which highly recommended it, especially if you are a fan the manga series: Blame! Throughout the game I could see the echoes of such manga resonate throughout the megastructures and even the proper story. I can only wonder if the developers did take inspiration from Blame! Nevertheless, it’s a great game to try, especially if you’re hungry for a short, sweet experience that leaves you wondering. You can also feel Half Life’s influence in this game with its platforming and combat, so if you’ve played many games of similar style, you’ll be right at home. The combat is basic, but not boring in my experience, especially if you’re the type of gamer that enjoys absorbing the environment and its details plus the story, the gameplay allows one to enjoy the overall experience; there were instances where I was surprised at some set pieces, which made the game even more memorable. I agree with others, the biggest detractor is how short the game is as well as how compact its story is. It has the potential of being something more grandiose and deep with what it establishes in themes and narrative. Here’s hoping the developers take up the mantle to expand this game, like a sequel maybe, and build up from what they have now. All in all, if you want a short, sweet, memorable experience that leaves you wondering; are a fan of the manga Blame! and enjoy Half-life, this game here is quite probably right up your alley. Highly recommended - 9/10
