Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.38/day in the week to Aug 3 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pretty good. Ghostrunner mixed with Doom with some Titanfall 2 sprinkled in. Though the new game plus has a bug that won't let you complete the second level. Hopefully it'll be fixed.
basically scyfi doom its a lotta fun just be sure to buy it on sale cuz its short im usually not picky when it comes to stories but wow its shocking how bad this one is. its fine tho, i just wanted to shoot stuff
Ultra violent cyberpunk FPS that feels like doom eternal. Wish it was longer but still worth the price when on sale.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I want to recommend this game, I really do, but unfortunately I feel the game has some pretty big issues holding it back. The gameplay is alright, with pretty satisfying movement. Think a mix of Doom, and Ghostrunner, with some shooting galleries mixed between short parkour sections. The gameplay is engaging enough for a playthrough, but definitely on the easier side for these kinds of games. The game gives you a variety of weapons, with two upgrade paths each, just like Doom 2016 and Eternal, though I felt that most of the weapons weren't all that different in their use cases, it didn't feel like each weapon had a specialized role, or enemy weakness to take advantage of. The enemies look great! As does most everything in the game, with a cohesive artstyle. But, same with the weapons, the enemies didn't feel all that special to fight against, with every enemy being equally resistant to every weapon, though not for a complete lack of trying. There are enemy archetypes comparable to Doom or Ultrakill, but I feel that the devs didn't lean far enough into giving the player different enough solutions to deal with them. The art looks stunning, every area is well detailed, with a consistent style, and really awesome scifi bits and bobs. It gets a little same-y throughout the campaign, but I think it's this game's strongest area! The music didn't stand out to me, but it certainly wasn't bad. The only part I didn't like were the cutscenes, lots of recycled clips reused over the course of the game, and a strange, hard to follow story really put me off from enjoying the cutscenes. The story was as I just mentioned, not very clear. I may be a numbskull, but I don't usually struggle following a story in my games. Without spoiling anything, as far as I could tell, the story revolved around the character you play as being "very special", with a disappointing and vague reveal towards the end of the game. 99% of the story is told through dialogue, and barely anything through the gameplay itself, which is fine, if it was more interesting. It's also a very short campaign, though I don't think I would have wanted more playtime anyway. In short, cool art, weird story, fun but flawed gameplay, Clearly a lot of work went into this game, I think it's a shame that I couldn't quite enjoy it.
TLDR: Decent boomer shooter carried by its looks, but too short. Buy it on a sale. Metal Eden kinda made me think about what it would have been like if Marathon was a single player game instead of an extraction shooter, at least in terms of its art direction. That being said, that's the real star of the show here. The game is a stunning ode to cyberpunk and "graphic-design core" as I like to call it, and every aspect of its visuals are difficult to look away from. The sound design is punchy, and appropriately filled with lasers, synths, and all things that go "bwaaa." The enemies, while feeling at least somewhat indistinct from one another mechanically, have great character design, and are both creepy and badass. However, aside from Metal Eden's presentation, the rest of it is simply "eh." It feels almost exactly like DOOM (2016), except not as polished, and poorly imitating that title's seamless interweaving of combat abilities. The level design is serviceable though, and traversal is fun enough. And last but unfortunately the least is the game's runtime. I suppose it's better that it didn't overstay it's welcome, but the four-ish hours it took me to complete it does not justify a $30 price tag. Although I wasn't taking my time, I certainly wasn't rushing the game, and went out of my way to do the incredibly short side content.
fun
Looks stunning, really decent FPS with butt clenching fights every other minute unless you are a ball.
Excellent, je recommande fortement.
Unfassbar gutes Spiel.
