We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.38/day in the week to Aug 3 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is the only game I have played where I wish their was a to leave a neutral review. I will say BUY ON SALE. The game play is really fun and addictive. Sound design is incredible but there are a few problems. There is a bug that effects the energy assault rifle where it will stop shooting after a freeze blast. Another weapon bug is with the SMG sniper where toggling between modes will have the gun auto shoot until you swap weapons. A frustrating bug is on level 2 where one of the doors wont open. Only way to remedy this is to restart the level. I would personally wait until and if the developers actually fix these... they have been around since launch. However I did really enjoy the game, its similar to Doom Eternal, except maybe not as hard, and I really hope to see more from this game either with DLC or Metal Eden 2. This game as huge potential to be a rogue like similar to Deadzone Rogue.
So far, so good. I downloaded the demo and loved it. I actually bought the game and I finished the Mission 0. It's smooth as silk! Runs super easy. I tried a bunch of different settings and on my AM4 rig at 1440p it runs textures pretty safe on Ultra textures with High settings for most everything else. I still don't quite get the story, but I'm guessing that progresses with time. The narrator sounds evil as hell, hahaaa. We'll see how this goes. I plan on choosing a nice rainy day to take it seriously and give a good long run and come back and let you know how it went. So far, so good though. Just a really SMOOTH experience animation-wise. Sleek looking game.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

A really great movement shooter with amazing visuals, punchy weapons, and slick movement. But in its current state (and likely the state it will remain in, seeing as it hasn't received so much as a bug fix update in 5 months) the game is incredibly broken--bugged achievements, soft locks that still persist even after restarting a whole level, corrupted save files, the whole lot. At this point it's a tossup whether you'll be given a pleasant, smooth experience with no real issues or one riddled with bugs that discourage you from even playing the game. In my case, it was the latter. Also, two massive issues are apparently constant throughout everyone's experience: one, the NG+ mode is completely broken, not letting you past a red wall in Level 2, and two, the game creates absolutely massive log files in the AppData folder for no apparent reason (the folder on my disk was nearly 20 GB somehow).
Do not bother with this lazy, unoptimized trash. Game runs very poorly with constant framedrops, mouse input is floaty and heavily delayed, controls are often unresponsive and janky, there's a ton of various bugs. No matter how much time I spend in the settings, it just feels like a nightmare to play. I've got 450h in Doom Eternal and around 100h in Ghostrunner 1/2, Metal Eden's two biggest inspirations and I struggled to finish the first level, the difficulty is just absurd. Encounters feel like a chore to play through, you spend so much time jumping around with no weapons to use, just waiting for cooldowns to finish. The lack of polish is noticeable in every facet of this game. Visual design is generic, unispired and overall ugly, there's so much washed metallic grey. Levels are a bunch of corridors leading to arenas, barely any exploration to speak of. The gameplay is a poor copy of Doom Eternal combat with Ghostrunner platforming in between. Don't buy this crap.
The gameplay is good and energetic — a mix of Doom and Metroid. 8 hours of non‑stop action in a cyberpunk style! The plot is so‑so. If in the sequel, as in Doom, armor is depleted first and only then HP, and not simultaneously, and the plot isn’t about women being oppressed and persecuted by self‑absorbed losers, then I’ll buy it.
gunplay & movement is very fluid. like it.
This is a dooms-like game in a sci-fi environment. Even in normal mode, game is a bit on the tougher side. Basically, you are running one objective to another, and killing everything on the way and in-between. You get upgrades for completing these missions and collect money that you can use to upgrade your weapons, which usually have alternative fire that is stronger but eats more ammo, it is not straight upgrade though, it changes how gun operates. Story is told through comm channel while you are progressing but to be honest, I am not sure I heard everything in the heat of it. I am more than half-way through. You are doing wall-runs, ziplines etc throughout the complex and usually they are OK, not too frustrating. I don't think I will go for Steam achievements, but if you do, you need to play in brutal difficulty and find collectibles called one-ups, and not die to lose them. Guns are I think OK. Some of the supposedly more powerful ones did not really impress me, but shotgun and energy weapon you get back to back were really nice! It can be quite stressful, but if you are into genre, you will probably like it!
Fricking Nerds!!
Unfortunately Steam doesn't have a "meh" review. Great theme and gameplay, similar to Doom 2016. Story is ok-ish, and the exposition *during* gameplay makes it harder to follow if you're busy killing enemies. Achievements are bugged, New Game + is still broken on Mission 2. It's a game that you basically play once and forget. It took me ~6h to finish on Normal. If you're interested, better get on *deep* discount like 5 USD or less.
METAL EDEN is a pretty good game. It plays a lot like Doom 2016, but leans more into the cyberpunk aesthetic of sci-fi. The weapons and traversal are interesting, the graphics are good, and the gameplay was fun overall. I did not like the enemy armor mechanic. Many enemies are armored and certain weapons are required to effectively deal with them. Often times, I found myself not being able to use the weapon I wanted to use due to it not being effective against armor and I didn't really like any of the armor-busting weapons. You can upgrade all weapons to have secondary abilities and some of those are particularly effective against armor, but, overall, I think the game would have been better without this extra mechanic as it just turned into a limitation for me. The game is about 7-8 hours in length, which is not bad. There's not an engrossing story here and the gameplay is fast and fun, not deep, so I think the length is about right. In summary, I'd say the game was fun and worth checking out, especially if you like fast and mobile FPS action. 7/10.
