Had an issue, posted a comment. Dev responded immidiately and after a brief discussion, new patch is out, everything fixed. Brilliant piece of software. It's a MUST HAVE if you have some 3D models saved on your PC already (for example your VRChat avatars). And if not, go get some and get Merper! It's free!

Very initial impression, this is what I've been searching for, for a while! The tags make this almost impossible to find for people specifically looking for VR animation for models.

Doesn't seem to want to work on Oculus Rift. A few threads in the forum with people having the same issue for months and no response from the developer.
This is a fantastic piece of software Interacting with models and rigging them has never been so easy And natural to do 10 out of ten would recommend to anyone who wants to play around with Models or create animations I would like an Option After you have manipulated the model's Hands and feet It would be nice to save That information right into .obj or .stl, This will be incredibly helpful With 3D printing them in that position
Merper VR 10 из 10
I have been searching for a VR animation software and was left with no acceptable alternatives... Tvori / Masterpiece Motion are now insanely expensive for a hobbyist that just wants a way to easily prototype some animations in VR. Out of nowhere I read a reference to a barely known VR animation application on Steam, Merper VR. I open the page, it is free... I am not really expecting much but what the hell, lets give it a try. I am blown away. I mean, it is limited and does not deal with IK bones but holy cow, it works and it is GREAT. It actually read an FBX I exported from blender from a very silly model, all the bones are deforming as it should and I can actually pose my character and make some keyframes and create an animation! It also read existing animations correctly. The only downside is the interface, it feels clunky yet. I am also sorely lacking a way of scaling the world, its seems that the scale is set automatically and cannot be changed. Otherwise, great app! Awesome work, I totally recommend anyone to give this a try,
Merper VR is a free VR program for animating 3D models while in VR space. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Comes with six humanoid models. You can change the environment with six choices. Did not have much in the way of instructions. You have to know what you are doing to animate 3D models. You can import models from other programs. Try it, if you are a coder or game maker.
very nice. as a cg editer it is nice to see your props in a vr way. and free. you don't get free a lot in the cg world
