A cute short platformer with interesting mechanics and a lot of charm. Took me a little under 2 hours to finish though steam only registered 2 minutes (I’m guessing because I was disconnected from wifi while playing it). A good recommendation for someone's first platforming experience or someone looking for a snack size game to wash off after a 50+ hour adventure. My only complaint would be the lack of an achievement for finishing the game. Edit; Steam page says 100 levels, but there are only 96 (might look like a small thing, but still feels dishonest IMO)
Simple platformer with light puzzle elements. Took me 60 minutes to beat - but I had fun doing it. No full-screen option, quit button or sound settings in-game. Best to grab it on sale.
Mekabolt is a very simple and easy platformer with 96 short levels that most players will complete 100% in less than two hours. The game frequently goes on sale for 99 cents, and for that price I found it entertaining enough to be worth playing but I would not recommend it at full price.
I enjoyed my time with it but with less than 2 hours on record that is up for you to decide if it is worth the price
Bought this in a sale bundle and it's lots O' fun! I love the 100 short levels that make this a game a great pick-up-and-play anytime activity.
Short and simple
Story
An island full of robots in need of support, you are sent to repair the robots which are malfuctioning.
Gameplay
Gameplay is as simple as it gets, 2-D platformer, gather the batteries, defeat the robots and move on.
Graphics
Classic style with vivid colors. What you see is what you get.
Sound and Music
Repetitive tracks with not much to add.
The Bad
Mekabot is very short, 45 minutes to 1 hour tops, so you won't be getting much gameplay value. This game is one way trip, once finished you won't pick it up again.
Conclusion
Mekabot is way too short, however, when I played I felt the simple and straighforward mechanics make this the perfect game for someone who is starting to play games.
Super sympa en solde pour passer un peu le temps quand on s'ennuie le dimanche après-midi..! Que ce soit pour une simple petite expérience ou pour tryhard! En revanche, je ne le recommanderais pas à 5€..
Nice little game, takes just an hour to beat.
For all the good aspects of this game, I can't recommend a game that requires you to hit ctrl+alt+delete to exit the game.
This game was a chore to play and I forced myself to play 5 minutes just so I could leave a review. There's no menu option to play fullscreen, there's no exit button so you have to alt-f4, the controls are sloppy with no coyote time but the biggest issue is the screen follows the camera up and down every time you jump. Up and down and up and down and up and down and the camera bouncing around and ugghhh it makes me feel dizzy & sick!!!
