MegaRats

When I first noticed [strike]Bad Rats[/strike] MegaRats expected EDF + Rats, unfortunately it's a broken mess atm. Not sure if touching walls, climbing pavement above 1inch in height or looking at the lamp posts the wrong way causes character to tumble out of control, but it's frustrating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPvR69KAsJM Believe the aim of the game is to kill rats and collect coins. Since you are given what seems to be every weapon from the start, I'm still not sure why. NPCs were found in towns that are meant to shoot rats..? most just stood there and died. Half the towns were underwater, rats spawned out of nowhere and I didn't notice any obvious objectives or health bars. Basically left stumbling around some bizzare version of The Lost City of Atlantis until getting bored. Should really be labeled Early Access and halved in price for now. Still needs a lot of work. Performance is all over the place on a single 970 and i7. More then happy to take another look as updates happen, just can't recommend the game in it's current state.

MegaRats is simply a game that's way too broken, the mechanics are broken, the physics make no sense, you shoot a wooden box and it flies out of the game! The shooting feels silly and lazy, it's just no fun what so ever. The only positive thing I can think about is that it has trading cards, woot woot.

The graphics are decent, but nothing extraordinary - Seems more like an experimental physics build / showcase rather than an actual game. There doesn't seem to be any objectives other than roaming around the large map and shooting rat-like creatures who just fall over. - A lot of bugs including falling under the map, launching through the sky, and odd rat creature behavior.

Megarats might at first seem like a game about killing rats, but when you get deeper and deeper into the game, you realize that it has much more to it than at first glance. This game is about phillosphy and the study of it. I dont want to s[poil this game for anyone interested in it but know that the game is incredible and is made for thinkers.

今日VR 游戏评测组 麦天 VR作为今年科技圈最热门的词语之一，不少游戏厂商、设备厂商都希望借着VR的热度搭一波顺风车，这在国内国外皆是如此。而在VR游戏领域，作为Htc Vive游戏最直接的购买平台，Steam由于近年来审核机制的不完善，常常会有一些完成度极低，甚至还在测试阶段的游戏，却以完整版游戏的价格公然出售，招摇撞骗。这在Steam的虚拟现实游戏板块也同样存在，就像这款售价68元的作品。 在你印象中，Steam上怎样的游戏能卖到68元？《迷失国度：消失的王冠》、《音盾》、《布鲁海文实验》，这几款游戏在Steam上标价68元。毫不夸张地说，上述几款游戏都是非常具有代表性和创新性的VR游戏，对之后的很多VR游戏的设计都有前瞻性的影响。而对于《MegaRats》来说，68元的售价，换来的却是一款毫无价值的“半成品”。 打开游戏，就像打开一款程序员还在测试的游戏Demo，没有开场，没有剧情引导，没有操作教程，甚至连主菜单界面也用的是Unity引擎默认的菜单设置。而且，这款游戏并不支持Vive的手柄，只能通过键盘或是连接手柄才能玩，对于带着Vive头盔的玩家而言，不过是将通过扭头来代替鼠标右键，仅此而已。可见，对于这款游戏而言，VR只是招摇撞骗的幌子，并没有为VR特性而准备的玩法，实在让人难以接受。 而真正给人造成困扰的，是游戏的各个功能，基本都处于半成品的状态。 众所周知，游戏的物理引擎对于这款游戏而言至关重要，因为这将直接影响游戏营造的环境给人带来的真实感。但在《MegaRats》中，它的物理引擎完全是未经测试的胡闹。在控制角色移动时，你会被所看到的的任何物品绊倒：地上的碎石，交通障碍物，甚至是怪物本身。所以在游戏的时候，你一定要小心翼翼地绕开所有物品，一旦碰到什么东西，角色就会摔倒，走一段路就得摔个五六次。其次，你在持枪射击某些箱子，油罐等物品时，它们不会被击飞，而是突然就凭空消失，简直让人哭笑不得，不得感叹“牛顿的棺材板都压不住了”。 《MegaRats》作为一款射击类游戏，提供了第一人称和第三人称两个视角。游戏中提供的枪械武器，没有后座力的物理模拟，没有子弹上限，更别提换子弹的设定了。更令人生气的是，你看不到武器的准心。大部分用手柄模拟枪械的VR游戏，确实有隐藏准心的设定，但这是款用手柄或是鼠标来玩的游戏啊！你见过哪款FPS游戏没有准信的？！这样的体验简直就是一场灾难：你只能通过射出子弹的着落点来判断射击的角度是否合理，难道我是在玩《愤怒的小鸟》吗？！ 而对于游戏角色本身而言，主角似乎是无敌的，虽然会被怪物打飞，但却不知道体力值被放在了什么位置，还是制作组忘记加了。而且，游戏中也没有提供任何引导或是提示，玩家只能操作主角在小城里瞎逛，然后徒步穿过荒野到下一座小城，每座城市还都差不都，完全不知游戏的目的和目标何在。 体验了半个小时之后，给我唯一的感受就是，这就是一款测试品，游戏应该还没有开发完。这其实是可以理解的，毕竟如果上文提到的部分功能在添加完善后，应该也能算是一款还不错的VR射击类游戏。 可是，就像之前说的，它仅仅是测试作品的水准，却在Steam上卖到了68元！这就过去了，分明是欺诈行为啊！凭什么一款还处在测试阶段的测试品就能在Steam上公然出售，还卖到了如此高的价格?!更令人感到可笑的是，这款游戏还非常无耻地在Steam物品商店中提供四种属性加成的道具！您这体力值都找不到在哪里的游戏，提供属性加成有何意义？只是想测试一下游戏功能是否可执行，并顺便捞玩家一波钱吗？ 很难想象，这款游戏到底是如何通过Steam的审核机制，堂而皇之的放到Steam平台上出售，而且还将价格订到了68元；或者说，它是怎么好意思和上述几款68元的作品排列在一起，提供给消费者选择的。诚然，Steam有“姑息养奸”之嫌，但从《MegaRats》更能反映出的事实是，现在的VR行业，确实存在着不少“居心叵测”之人，意图借着VR的热度，随便糊弄个东西出来招摇撞骗，坑一波钱就跑路。 综评 《MegaRats》是一款打着VR的幌子招摇撞骗，没有引导，没有剧情，甚至没经过任何游戏测试的“三无产品”。堂而皇之地卖到68元的高价，其制作厂商的捞钱手段简直与欺诈无异。作为一家极富正义感的评测媒体，我只想说： 请滚出VR行业！

Dieses Spiel ist eine absolute Frechheit. Ich habe im Leben noch nie so einen Schrott serviert bekommen. Komplett verbuggt, ohne Athmo und Geräusche - die Grafik einfach nur ein Unverschämtheit. Man sollte beim Ansehen des Trailers stutzig werden, ob der Feuer auf Planes etc. Und dann noch 19.99 € !!!!! Ein Lob geht an Steam, das man es direkt wieder stornieren kann. Als ob das von einem Kind gemacht worden wäre, dass irgendwo einen Setzbaukasten für PC-Spiele entdeckt hat.

this is a sfit a game not reccomanded

my kids love watching the megarats show so it just made sense to buy them the game. they have been loving it. its such a blast watching the little tykes run around Blasting those megarats! and how can i blame them! the megarats are up to no good in what can only be called ANOTHER megarats classic. its really hard for the guys at work to get into games, but when we all get around a lengthy session of megarats? well i cant seem to get them to come back into the shop! crazy i know. try it for yourself and maybe youll gamer with me and my buds. alright. robert signing off. goodnihgt

Apart from being unstable , awful detection and the fact thats there is no obvious AI .I started game fell over started again worked for a few minutes longer then game gave up. Could be a nice fun game but it isn't in its current state and I don't think it will get any more care from its maker .

Probably one of the greatest games I have ever played for the time I have been on this earth. I can't believe how small this game is, playerwise that is... This game has so many places to go! This game has so many places to go and so many things to do, but mostly killing these heinous rats! So many weapons to choose from and so many stratigies to use when killing our enemies the MegaRats. Would reccommend this game to anyone looking to buy! 9/10- More rats!
