Mech Builder

2Dロボットプラモデルシミュレーター(パズルゲーム) ランナーからパーツを切って説明書に書かれた完成図を基に色を付けたり組み立てていく。 用意されたデカールを全て貼ったら完成、次のプラモへ ぶっちゃけた話、[spoiler]Last Call BBSに入っていたゲーム[/spoiler]のインスパイア作品 [spoiler]正直、全体的なロボットプラモデルシミュとしての質は向こうの方が高い[/spoiler]と思う こちらは1つ1つのパーツが既に塊になっている、パーツを2つくっつける中が空洞な表現はないし、半円のパーツをはめて輪状にするようなところは無い、(やった範囲では) 一方パーツの色付けが1パーツ単位かつ1クリックで着色できる、その分パーツが多め、着色は楽ではある ランナーも箱のサイズや色別に一気ではなく説明書基準で頭A・腕BCD・足EF・胴体GHIのように1つ1つ独立していて(ストアスクショ参照)、ランナーについていながら既に着色済み(白いランナーに黒いパーツついてることがある)、親切ではあるが雰囲気はあんまり出ていないように思う (後半になると白一色のプラモも出てくるが独立しているのは変わらない模様) 切る演出もゲート(ランナーとパーツをつなぐ細い部分)を切る感じではなく、その手前の伸びているランナーをクリックすると伸びているランナーごと消滅する タイトル画面で飾れるのは良いが、完成品の再編集ができない辺りが少し不親切、 またよく見るとデカールが反映されていないように見える まとめると全体的にプラモデルへの解像度が低い、 ただ一部の仕様を除いてまともに遊べるしデザインはまぁそれっぽい(メダ〇ットやゴ〇ラみたいなのもありましたが) パーツ単位の色付けも楽といえば楽なので初心者向け 私はうーんとなったけどまぁいいんじゃないでしょうか

No time restraints, relaxing music and the ASMR clicking of pieces snapping into place. It's like doing a jigsaw, only with defined shapes and an instruction manual. Different categories of mechs, clearly inspired by every geeky IP going. They come in blocks of five which is just right for a single session. And at the end of it all you get to organise them on your increasingly cluttered shelves like a true collector.

I will freely admit to not knowing that assets in the game were AI based upon purchasing the game. However, I must say that for what I brought the game for, the game has proven to be rather relaxing and stress-free, which is what I had hoped for. The gameplay loop is easy enough to pick up, and can quickly be mastered; nothing is too difficult in the game, which given its aim is to be relaxing is good. The graphics are good enough, though I consider the colour palette a little too bubblegum like for my tastes. My major criticism of the game so far has been that it only has one soundtrack (unless I missed something) - while relaxing and enjoyable enough for the first 20-30 minutes, it has become quickly repetitive since. I understand one of the main criticisms from several reviewers has been the repetitive gameplay loop, to which I would respond by asking what exactly they expected - the game is called "Mech Builder", and is exactly as the name implies. The mech sets are nicely themed, and the designs are different enough to be interesting. Now the elephant in the room - the AI assets. I understand the concern many have given, and were the developer a large team or backed by a big publisher, I would heartily agree. On the other hand, from what I understand the developer is neither of these, so I am willing to be a bit more forgiving of the use of AI in the game's development. All in all, if you are looking for a relaxing little puzzle game without too much difficulty, I don't think you would do too badly with this, especially given its price (I bought it on sale for £3.87). The 3 DLC (I got those on sale, all three for around £3.50) add some extra mech sets to build - like the base game the sets are nicely themed, with some nice references.

Great building chill game, I wish they made this for mobile or download able on my phone so I could build while I relax on my break or when Im out waiting for something.
