Look I get it, making a video game is hard and I wish the dev team all the best but this game is missing any semblance of personality. It feels so generic, the world is just a barren city surrounded by gray walls, the driving is just okay, and the art deign is so dull. The way that I see it is that there's genuinely no reason for me to play this when I can just boot up a 10 year old NFS game from the Xbox 360 and PS3 generation and have a much better time.
For early access the game plays well. I was even able to get it up and running on my Steam Deck. The only adjustment I had to make while playing on the Steam Deck was shutting off motion blur. The car customization are nice and exploring the map to find places to play around and jump is always fun. Graphics look great. Keep up the great work!
From the few hours I had played of this game, I can safely say that this is probably the NFS Underground like game we need nowadays. The game itself while rough around the edges (especially the demo that I had played), is really solid. There may not be a lot on offer for 20 dollars, but I can assure you that this game is really worth taking a look at, but don't expect a NFS Underground 3, since this game is not at that level of polish and quality those games provide yet, So far I love this game. The influence from the Underground games is unmistakable. There are few racing games aside from the NFS games from 03 - 05 that I want to come back to, and this game is no exception. It doesn't play exactly like those games, and I will say that some of the AI is indeed a pain to race against (it's pretty difficult to win in some cases due to their driving and them basically zooming past you right at the start), but that didn't take away from the fun I had from racing around these tracks. The devs are hard at work creating this, and from the previews I had seen on their discord server, it's certainly a treat to behold. If you're willing to put the 20 that this game has, then it's worth a shot. Definitely one of my favorite racing games this year.
no players to play so it is a dead game and the loading it takes too longggg
Weekly updates, balancing of cars and stats, you can watch the devs build the rest of the map with new buildings popping up every other day! Definitely worth the EA price. *THERE IS SO MUCH PLANNED SO MUCH MAP OMG* Devs add soft updates weekly, very interactive with the discord, full updates monthly, this game drives like your favourite childhood memory. And as with any early access, it really does feel as though playing sooner will give more to the experience. Support small dev pools <3100% playable, map is really good and open, big map, great racetracks, cool car design, fun and intuitive car physics, 1000's of parts to grind.Honestly, I love it. Can't wait for it to become a full game, the city feels huge the cars are pretty and the lighting is unreal. The physics are super intuitive, coasting around corners at 120mph is awesome. AI will kick your ass in the beginning, but it feels good to grind out the parts and absolutely smoke them later on. 210mph seems to be top speed... for now.
