Nothing special, the most common match-3 game. You can usually kill time by sitting at work. The music is pretty cool too, at least it doesn't get in the way. In principle, the game can be recommended.

Fascinating indie match 3 game, very suitable for spending time with interest, there are different mechanics in the game that are worth studying thoroughly and use to win, I liked the design in the style of the Vikings

Lucky me has the dubious honour of writing the first review for Match3 Mania! Match3 mania! is a bare basic Match-3 game that's been put together with the terrible GameMaker Studio construction kit. It looks like this might be an asset flip/copied from a template, due to the simplistic and barebones implementation. Resolution is locked and stretched 4:3 aspect ratio (despite this launching in 2021!), and of course, you can play Match-3 games for free, so it's impossible to suggest anyone should pay the crazy cash grab $13 price tag for this. It should be no surprise that keys for this game were sold in bulk to cheap game bundle sellers at launch. An important note: khukhrovr are known asset flippers and have previously taken other developers work and put it on Steam in an attempt to scam gamers and get paid for someone else's effort. One example of khukhrovr doing this is Rolling Car, which is really the "[url=https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/packs/circle-crash-88702]Circle Crash[/url]" asset, written by the actual developers, SgLib Games. Asset flips are harmful to the gaming industry. They're nothing but cash grabs, and they harm genuine indie developers by reducing their visibility on Steam. Because this game has all the same low quality as an asset flip, as well as the other problems with it, it's impossible to recommend.

On the positive side, when you launch the game it gives you the option of running it muted. I genuinely appreciate that. The animations for the swapping of tiles, destruction of tiles and new tiles dropping in are not *completely* terrible - say, around a C. Maybe even a C+ if you're feeling generous. On the negative side, almost everything else. No power ups, no variation in gameplay or graphics, not even the timer speeding up to make it more challenging as time goes on. How high a score you can get is just a measure of how long you can be bothered playing. There is no enjoyment. There is no challenge other than the endurance of tedium. The dopamine will drain from your brain. Maybe someone could conceivably use it as a mindfulness tool? Or maybe not. If you gave a class of bright third graders a copy of Gamemaker and a couple of hours to make a game, this is the sort of result you might expect. Bejewelled costs a fraction of the price, came out over a decade ago, and is superior in every way. There are hundreds of terrible match-3 games out there - among them, this is probably the worst and probably in the top percentile price-wise.

I wish the "developer" of this "game" a very unfortunate life. May nothing but misery cross your path. Pathetic asset flip scam. I got this from a "premium" steam key, since the dev thinks his 5 seconds of work are worth 10 bucks and they paid for fake reviews so this trash would be consider "premium". SHAME.
