Master of the Maze

Session 1 was fun and leads into an interesting world that has me anticipating session 2. 5/5

I like this game! Lovely game play, fun dialog options, a baby dragon...(love the baby dragon!), also a good narrative. I can appreciate good story telling. I think Endeavorous Games did a good one for their debut game. I look forward to updates and extra content! I am close to the end of the game at time of review. I look forward to whatever the conclusion is. The puzzles are good, I am a silly goose at times, the puzzles are challenging in some areas but not frustratingly so. The combat is mild, which is great for combatively challenged individuals such as myself :). Great game, I recommend it to all those who enjoy puzzles, a good couple hours of time that I find worthwhile. Overall 9.89/10, on The Superior Rating System (developed by Juterque).

Good game. Great visuals, interesting puzzles, cool lore. Still some bugs, but for a debut title it's pretty good.

Great game. I'll list this as one of my comfort games. The puzzles are fun. They varied in difficulty, but I was never completely stuck trying to figure them out. I like that in a puzzle.

Vibrant world and fun puzzles, with a nice story to uncover while exploring each level. Swapping between the protagonist and the dragon to solve puzzles is easily the best part of the game, especially in the lava levels. Using the dragon’s water ability made it so fun to get around and solve all the water and fire based obstacles. Each region had its own unique kinds of puzzles though, which kept things interesting and fresh. The music was fantastic, immersing me into the world and making the game very cinematic. The story was nice and linear with a cast of interesting characters, which made me wish I could explore more of the world. In the meantime though, I’ll just be out there smashing pots and boxes for materials. 10/10 would pluck a leaf from a sentient tree again.

While some parts of Master of the Maze can be a bit opaque, this game is easy on the eyes and clearly has a lot of heart put into it. If you like what you see in the trailer, give it a shot! Pro tip: you have to equip food first to eat it.
