Good gunplay and satisfying movement, graphics and visuals are good. Story is decent but a bit repetative and it's easy to see content that wasn't finished and added in half completed. Overall buy it on sale
A solid all round decent game, good story, plenty to do, it had a rocky start all them years ago, but it's a good game these days and worth a play through
DO NOT BUY THIS. I’ve never been this furious in my entire gaming life. Mass Effect: Andromeda is not a game — it’s a cruel joke, a slap in the face to every loyal Mass Effect fan, and a prime example of how corporate greed can murder a beloved franchise. Let’s start with the story. It’s like someone threw a bunch of sci‑fi clichés into a blender, hit “puree,” and then dumped the slop onto the screen. The main character is a walking cardboard cutout with zero personality. You’re supposed to be the Pathfinder, the leader of this grand expedition to a new galaxy, but you feel like a delivery boy who’s just there to pick up quests and nod at people. The writing is so bland and soulless that I found myself skipping every single dialogue option just to get it over with. Now, the infamous facial animations. Oh, where do I even begin? They’re not just bad — they’re actively disturbing. Characters look like they’re having a stroke mid‑sentence, their eyes darting around like they’ve lost their minds, and their mouths move in ways that defy the laws of human anatomy. It’s so jarring that I had to turn the camera away from faces during conversations. It’s not “quirky,” it’s not “early access vibes” — it’s a technical disaster that should’ve been caught months before release. Combat? A soulless, repetitive grind. You spend hours shooting the same generic alien grunts in the same generic environments. There’s no thrill, no sense of progression, no “aha!” moment. Just wave after wave of enemies that feel like bullet sponges. The cover system is clunky, the aiming feels slippery, and the special abilities are so underwhelming that I stopped using them after the first few missions. The open worlds are the biggest lie in the game. They’re vast, yes — but completely empty. You drive around in the Nomad for what feels like an eternity, only to find a few crates, some low‑level enemies, and a boring side quest that rewards you with a couple of credits and a shrug. The planets look pretty from a distance, but up close they’re just barren wastelands with zero life or personality. Exploration isn’t rewarding; it’s punishing. And let’s not forget the bugs. I encountered glitches that made me question reality itself. Characters floating in mid‑air, enemies spawning inside walls, quest markers disappearing into the void, and cutscenes that refused to trigger no matter how many times I reloaded. I spent more time troubleshooting the game than actually playing it. The soundtrack is forgettable, the UI is cluttered and confusing, and the overall pacing is so sluggish that I found myself checking the clock every ten minutes, praying for the game to end. Mass Effect: Andromeda feels like a hollow shell of what the series used to be. It lacks the heart, the soul, the magic that made the original trilogy so special. It’s a soulless cash grab that betrays the legacy of Mass Effect. I regret every minute I spent on it, and I’d rather scrub floors for a living than play this again. Save your money. Save your time. Save your sanity.
Angara's are cool!
