In my opinion a very overlooked game. Its sad that we might never get an official sequel for this.

this game is actually good

the story is not great and the portrayals of characters can be pretty insufferable, but the gameplay is pretty neat. at least, the main gameplay. idk what the whole abbey thing is cooking.

All in all a great game if you like turn based games with a good story

The start of the game is pretty rough, and Marvel's Midnight Suns is sometimes too ambitious for its own good, but honestly, after a few hours, you start to see the beauty in all those systems, the poetry in all those conversations, the consitance in the whole game. I have a great time playing both story and side missions. The game also captures the voice of Marvel characters wonderfully, and the tactical depth is here. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

Super fun game. Dialogue could be better but the gameplay makes it worth for it. If you like strategy with card building and Marvel, it is a must play.

The card based combat in this game is some of the best I have ever played! It has great variety in card types, the combo cards between heroes are powerful and impactful and the mechanics of combat in general are enjoyable and easy to learn. The paths for upgrading, and gaining new, cards is related to rewards and resources gained from doing missions, which adds to the team building elements of the missions, along with level upgrades and story progression. The story is extremely interesting and different to the mainstream Marvel offerings we have come to expect with the addition of a much deeper arcane story and gameplay. The only downside to the game can be the interactions between the heroes in the Abbey, between missions. Much of the banter, and a fair amount of the discussion lines, can be a little juvenile, but they do flesh out the back stories of the heroes and increase the bonds of friendship, in turn increasing the amount of available combos and their strength. There is also some light resource gathering and crafting elements centered around the Abbey as well. All in all, I have been enjoying this game MUCH more than I expected to. I hope there is a sequel one day, or at least another entry utilising the 'Midnight Suns' team.
