The first couple hours of the game has writing that makes me want to implode with cringe. It also takes way too long to let you get into the general gameplay loop. That said, the gameplay is very very fun and the writing does tone itself down as you keep going.

Miss match marval teams dlcs crank it up a notch. i loved xcom its kinda like but very different the i was expecting not in a bad way.
Very underrated game. Very fun combat and very immersive storyline. Just sad it did not succeed commercially and support has basically been discontinued. Although I have not encountered a single major bug etc. Game could still use some more tweaking etc. As well as a sequel!!

I was really excited for this game when it was announced, then I seen that it was a card based battle system and decided it wasn't for me. I wish that I wouldn't have let my biases form that decision. This game is fantastic! The card system is really easy to learn and and customization is nearly endless. The only thing I would change is to be able to do more than 1 side mission per in game day. Grinding gets a little tedious but it does give you the chance to try out different team combinations. Overall I would recommend this to anyone that's on the fence about the card system, I have had a blast so far.
