This game has a good concept (survival on Mars) which occurs in phases. It's not a sandbox builder game. The graphics are a bit dated. The UI is a little weird. If none of that bothers you it's an interesting game to play. Make sure to press F1 for help at the start. I've also written half of a guide (someday I might finish >.>; ) that might be useful for early gameplay. I also have way more hours than it lists on Steam since it wasn't on Steam for a while and I played it a bunch. This game requires patience. There is no combat type action, and it has a learning curve. I'm hoping Hyperkat will make another one like this instead of what they did for their next Mars game after this one.
Unfortunately I can't recommend this one. I bought it back in Early Access and thought it had potential, but unfortunately it remains incomplete. The UI is obtuse and quite annoying. The jump between phases left me feeling like I was missing out on other parts that could have been included. There are little things missing all the way through which makes playing it a chore. Unfortunately this is one is a no from me.
This is a very good mars simulator if you like mars. However, the game has been abandoned by the developers so there are Buggs and crashes in the game, but it's good. You are assigned to create a base for the future, and are alone (unless plying with friends) The games requires you to complete a set of objectives for each phase. The goal is to get the base ready for others to live in in the future. The game is the first in a 2 games series. The other is Mars colony frontier where the base you took time to build in challenger shows up with other people. This game is pretty fun, but to some people the graphics are bad.
It's alright.
Horrivel
Cash grab abandonware. Nuff said.
THis game does not Offer What you think. It has low Res. It doesnt have very good building mechanics. Enviromental Controls are WAY off too. I cant see something that wont go wrong in the Game. Also it's pretty buggy. Thank you for Reading, -Mr. Kaos
Short, but I enjoyed it.
it was terrible multiplayer's broken
I really wanted to like this. It's right up my alley. The technical problems, such as crashing or systems not working when assembled make it impossible to play correctly. Save your money, hope for something that works better from a different dev.
