pretty good

I'm not sure about this one. It's good, but not great. It's got a good atmosphere, good music, and it's really interesting, but I don't feel it did quite enough with itself. I thought the story would be more developed, but it felt kind of unresolved and ambiguous in a slightly unsatisfying way. The narration had a few moments that made me theorise about what was going to happen, then just didn't follow through on them. I recommend it on sale, but only if you're into atmospheric walking sims. This game is really just press w and move the mouse around, that's not a bad thing, but be aware that it's that.

That's just pure magic. Connor Sherlock's games are the best walking sims and one the most immersive games that I've ever played. And ending... 10/10

Interesante juego estilo walking simulator. La historia contada de manera pausada y acompañada de una atmósfera y una ambientación musical intrigantes hace que este juego sea una pequeña joya. El juego es cortito en sí, pero ofrece una experiencia estilo "The Outer Limits" o "X-Files" que merece mucho la pena. Si tuviera subtítulos al español se agradecería un montón (con un nivel intermedio de inglés lo puedes entender en su mayoría). En su estilo, totalmente recomendado.

I would love to play it, but the mouse sensitivity is about 10x as high as it should be with no way to change it, and on top of that it's locked to 60 fps. For a game where you're looking around a place you'd hope the looking around doesn't give you headaches

Yeah they right it's just a glorified walking simulator... it's aight I guess.

it takes about an hour to complete. the less you know about it going in, the better. it's not complex--it's going for something simple, and it achieves it. if the atmosphere and the aesthetics of the screenshots appeal to you, it may be for you if you're willing to meet it on its terms.

An utterly spellbinding game. Play it on a dark stormy night and take your time. Let yourself get lost in the woods, and the beautiful music. No jump scares, but something entirely more scary - the promised slow, creeping dread. Plenty of the room in the plot for your brain to come up with horror. [Playtime says 0.1 hours, but I played it for an hour. Not sure why.]

This is a decent game, just don't go into it expecting some grand adventure or heart-pounding horror experience. It's more or less a walking simulator through a creepy forest while an unseen narrator tells a spooky story, but I got a lot of enjoyment out of it and so will you if you find that kind of thing interesting. It really nails the feeling of isolation and paranoia, and something tells me that was the entire point of Marginalia.
