About
MARCH is a movement-based rhythm-narrative game where you play as the only robot in a human marching band! Just follow the routine and tap that drum to your heart’s content as you play through exciting levels with adaptive music combined with a rich narrative about finding acceptance!
Everything CL-1K (our main character) sees is rhythm and music. Levels will not only take place on the football field, but also in classrooms, hallways, and other interactions in high school. Shenanigans can and WILL ensue.
For each level, you play as a small part of a huge band, all choreographed to move to the beat! There are multiple difficulties to choose from (timed input + directional input, just one of those, or watch levels like cutscenes!). Stick to your path and everything will flow perfectly, but if you can’t keep up, you just might be able to get back to your spot before anyone notices!
Unlike most rhythm games, MARCH has a significant narrative component. In between and even during performances, players will talk to other band members, explore the town, and grapple with fitting in and finding acceptance. We can’t spoil too much just yet, but imagine all the drama of a typical marching band, except you’re an extreme outsider…
