Nice idea but still needs more development. Very short, took about 5 min to complete. Atmosphere is ok but nothing too terrifying. Voice acting is like someone was struggling to speak a single word.
good for what i played so far, my only complaint is whenever i would turn, the camera would snap the other direction right as i start walking :(( But overall good so far

10/10, i now have Automatonophobia!
"Mannequin" is a low key asset flip, a bunch of other people's assets assembled badly to make a basic game, typically this kind of thing is done by amateur developers without sufficient budget, talent and/or staff to do the job of game development professionally. It's then quickly rushed into Steam Direct. And, unsurprisingly, this never results in a product with any quality, interest, or value for gamers. This is your usual Unity kitbashed first person horror adventure game made out of a bunch of other people's game assets and dumped on Steam for god knows what reason. There's literally thousands of asset flipped first person horror adventure games from amateur developers who seem to genuinely think that nobody else ever did this before and therefore putting a bunch of other peoples assets on Steam is going to make them a famous and rich rockstar game developer. Never happens. They're all junk. This is no exception. The gimmick to this one is that you're running around a closed shop and spooky mannequin assets chase you around. Yawn. So, the game might look better than you'd expect from an amateur project, but this is because it's partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Very little in this game is truly the creation of the "developer", it's just a bunch of rearranged assets. While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either. That's definitely true for "Mannequin". The game is quite short, and can be run through in just 5 minutes. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download. That's probably the best part about this, there isn't much of it. Less of a bad thing is better, right? Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. There's no financial cost up-front, but you'd still be spending your time and a little hard drive space on a product that's far from the best. There's thousands of better alternatives on Steam.
Cortito y tenebroso, muy bueno.
The perfect game to play alone at night in a dark room, especially if you have a crippling, sincere phobia of mannequins in real life... kind of like I do. 11/10 I'm never opening this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game again 😇👍🏽💦
