The escape rooms are fairly challenging and I loved the story and how the characters, especially Cautionne , talked. The story, though it was right in being short, felt me wanting more.
The character you'll primarily interact with is so damn charismatic that it's impossible not to like him by the end of it. The puzzles are fun and multiple difficulties ensure that you can get to the end even if puzzling's not your forte. The game does a good job of illuminating a pretty dark story through tidbits of info strewn about the game, and it rewards you for paying attention -- the good end is absolutely the best ending, and the bad end is by far the least satisfying. I want Cautionne to do evil things to me before he leaves me face-down in a rural ditch.

at first i was a bit worried i wouldn't be able to solve these puzzles bc i'm notoriously bad at them, but when i really locked in (and with a little bit of chat's help sometimes) i managed to get through them all. the puzzles are very nicely designed and satisfying to solve, and i didn't expect the story to grab me so hard as it did. also I LOVE CAUTIONNE'S DESIGN
Good game. Pretty short, which could be seen as a bad or a good thing. Hopefully this ends up getting more attention, as it deserves it.
played it through once, plaed protoviolence through, went back and 100%ed this AND MY GOD the depth of the story just hit that much harder. I really recommend playing those two back to back! Cute art, cool puzzles and lotsa lore, an allround great experience (that will hit you like a truck).
play this game to get a free son you now have to protect forever. 10/10 - would escape again
Was expecting a visual novel with some puzzles, and was very pleasantly surprised with a narrative puzzle game that could go toe to toe with Nancy Drew herself. Was playing on hard, and some of the puzzles completely stumped me which I was really happy about! I wanted to be challenged, and I certainly got it. I was really impressed by how every single puzzle in the game felt fresh, there is so much variety that there is no doubt that you will find a favorite puzzle. The voice work is superb, and it's the cherry on top of a lovely little story. It's one well worth experiencing yourself. Very excited to see where it goes from this point, and ready to cry so much at the prequel. Cautionne as your newest underling I would happily make you another pancakes. Evil style, of course.
I was approached by Mado to check out the game, And I had an amazing experience. The writing in the story is really good and Cautionne and Dr. Danger are so charming. I love their voices and personality so much. I diiiiid get a bit frustrated playing on the hardest difficulty for my first 8 hour playthrough. I died... like a lot. Really brought me back to younger days of playing Sudoku books with an ink pen and realizing halfway through that I messed up halfway. All in all I had a great time. I'm playing the prequel as well!

malViolence has amazing art!! I love the character designs and the environment each room has. The game having voice acting was a surprise! I enjoyed the performance the VAs for the characters, they capture the personality perfectly. The puzzles for the escape rooms are really well thought out and I appreciate the level difficulties, being able to change them mid game, and being able to skip them if you want to. The story of the game is interesting and the way it sprinkles everything throughout each room is such a good way to tell it. Keeps you wanting to understand more!
