Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really cool concept of a game! I thought the execution was pretty good as well. Sound design/music was awesome as you could really feel tension as vital signs started becoming a problem. The overall story is very interesting as well. Not so much a "horror" game than a med-sim/sci-fi, but I could certainly call this horror adjacent. Worth the time!
I like the idea. I really do. But for now I can't recommend this game. I really was expecting a lot from it, but it feels more like... demo than the full game. The game has been definetly rushed, and it consist out of bugs, yet still I liked it. It offers a unique twist on surgeonic work. Let's just hope that in the future sunscorched will bring us more shifts, gameplay and other stuff so my review can change to recommendation.

*Malpraxis* makes an rather rough first impression. The game inexplicably lacks a WORKING quit option (from either the MAIN menu or the in-game menu), meaning the only reliable way to exit is by alt-tabbing and closing it through Steam. The controls are similarly unintuitive, turning the opening stages —namely, the tutorial—into an exercise in tedium rather than onboarding. That said, perseverance is rewarded. Once the control scheme finally clicks, the underlying mechanics reveal themselves to be remarkably polished and thoughtfully designed. Visually, the game is gorgeous, with striking environments that establish an eerie, immersive atmosphere (especially when compared to similar autopsy simulators). The narrative/mystery/intrigue unfolds at a satisfying pace, woven seamlessly into the game's various autopsies and medical examinations through environmental storytelling and a cast of performances that range from competent to genuinely excellent. Although the tutorial threatens to bury the game's strengths beneath needless tedium, those willing to push through will discover a memorable and surprisingly compelling experience lurking underneath its rough edges.
After all the updates, I finally managed to finish the game, although there are still bugs, such as some bones that aren't identified or questions that I answer that give me a negative result, but after I try to answer the same question several times, it accepts it. The system that evaluates your operation at the end always gives the same result with an S rating. That said, I think this is only the first part of the game, or at least I hope so.
The biggest difference from the trailer to the gameplay, is there is A LOT more reading than you'd suspect I understood that there would be some amount of "detective work" involved, but i sat mostly reading and was confused for the first level, and closed the game once i finished it The pineapple tutorial level also broke so i had to end the operation, and it just completely skipped it? not a good tutorial My understanding of the game was that it would be a dark, Sci-Fi, horror like version of "Surgeon Simulator 2013" and boy was i wrong. Not to mention that the miscommunication with the name of the game. I thought that i'd be able to do operate on people however and kinda choose to be rogue, which would in turn give me like a bad ending or so, or do everything flawlessly and get a good ending. Nope, you just straight up fail the level if the patient dies, and the tutorial also heavily discourages mishaps of ANY kind, even when giving diagnosis In all honesty, I'm probably just too dumb to understand this, then again the tutorials was confusing as hell and didn't really do a great job telling you what to do next Even though the game is cheap, i think i'mma stick to watching others play the game even though i would like to play it
The first actual patient Ps me O! He keeps moving his hands and feet as i scan him and it doesn't help my dominant hand (right hand) is shaky making it hard already for me to use my mouse! I was checking the bones apparently and didn't know how to switch layers because i forgot how UNTIL i saw in the top right of the game. However i finally started understanding the game! 8/10
honestly look interesting but iam currently unable to get pass the beginning part answer all the query's and just get stuck there with no objective. check online and it seem i get thing out of order if i go to fast idk at this point game completely broken. Yea as of know the game just a broken mess i tried 8 times to get pass the first stage impossible just bug and your stuck there infinitely with no way to progress. Can't even exit the game i have to ALT + F4 just to close the game cause for some stupid reason the system tab is lock and there no pause option. i best say DONT BUY THIS GAME
overall fun but way too short. i've been following sunscorched for a long time now since they announced negative athmosphere and for a first game within the same uinverse, its great, not seen many operation sim horror games yet. i really hope tho that there are going to be more more levels more patients and maybe less autopsys. overall this game feels like a bit longer demo than a fully released game, still im excited what sunscorched has in store for us
The game have great idea, but it's totally FUBAR. Watch the video below to understand why you should not touch it for the time being Video: https://youtu.be/CFWTZ8k24q4
Game has a cool concept but the execution is just not that great. I don't consider myself a smart gamer but pretty early on you decent into straight trial and error. Some of the diagnostic connections make little sense, and the scenes in between left me wondering what I'm supposed to do half the time.
