This game never really clicked with me while I was playing it. There didn't seem to be much of a point to it and with it being an "open world" shmup, having things flying all over the place from all directions got to be a bit much. I was never sure if I had to kill something or just make sure I didn't die or what. Not a horrible game, but not really one I can recommend, as I just didn't really have any fun playing it.

the controls are garbage
Настолько классная игра что дальше заставки не продвигается

First off, I can't speak highly enough about Diadra Empty. I haven't played the steam version much, but I have about 150 hours played on the Japanese retail version, and I consider this to be one of my all time favorite games. At one time I held 2 of the 3 score records on the Japanese leader boards. Diadra Empty is a uniqie and incredibly fun shooter that uses a free roam area that the player can navigate while overcoming waves of enemies. With a wide variety of weapons and strategies, there are many ways you can play the game, and with unlockable buffs and handicaps you can make it as easy or as challanging as you want. The graphics may not me much to look at at first glance, but it makes up for it in dazzling effects and visuals. Pros: -Incredibly fun and addicting gameplay. -Very high replay value. -Memorable and catchy music. -Small file size and low requirements make it playable on just about any system. Cons: -Game is very slow at start, which may turn off some players who want to jump straight into intense action. The real insanity of this game doesnt really show until you take on true and extra modes with everything unlocked. -Most of the steam achievements are bugged and unobtainable, which will leave you with a very low completion %. Completionists beware. -The control take some getting used to if you are using a keyboard. If you love shmups, this game will remind you why. Its only $6...what are you waiting for!?
another generic ♥♥♥♥ bullet hell game with garbage controls, nonsense gameplay, ♥♥♥♥ graphics, ♥♥♥♥ story and, as a bonus, overlapping UI and graphics elements and controls overlapping on both the character controls and the menus controls at once
Game seems to have lots of options but it also seems uninteresting. Some phrases are shown at the beggining of each level, i think they tell a story, but it is not very clear to me. I had to close the game after changing it to full screen (the game didn't told me so). The interface is on the bottom of the screen and is very difficult to read due to small font. Levels are a big space where you can face left and right, because of this you cannot keep facing the boss when it appears, so moving afar from it means you cannot shoot it. The lack of tutorial is annoying, I am not sure about some options. If you cannot get to control the game on the first 30 seconds, there should be some information about it. When you die, a massive data screen is shown with crazy information which is not really useful. Every interface or interaction with the player should be reworked, as this game seems very unpolished.
This is a 2D retro pixel side scrolling shmup with a fairly big playing area (you can see the minimap in the screenshots above, you have to move around a lot). Controls are fixed, resolution is fixed and there's no working fullscreen mode that I could see. Full screen is a basic bare minimum requirement for any video game. The price tag of $8.50 for a shovelware shmup with no fullscreen mode is just silly.
