Magical Princess

I played the Studio Gainax classic Princess Maker 2 back in the day, but never really got into the daughter raising genre. Saw people praising this one and thought I'd give it a try. I was not expecting much for the price but got far more than I paid for. Absolutely insane this is the follow up work to a Japanese broad game. The loop is fun, one of the better explained and more forgiving versions of this genre, but the story through to the true end was fantastic. Nothing ground breaking story-wise, but elevated by immaculate vibes, world building and characters into something special.

Was initially attracted by the cute art and wholesome looking story. But the lore was surprisingly interesting??? Highly replayable as the game offers many different endings, achievements and special cutscenes that you can unlock through NG+. Though the biggest highlight is definitely the true/secret endings that solves many of the mysteries that you encounter throughout the game. Recommended if you are looking for a cozy game with a great story! :D

[h3] I have mixed feelings about this game. [/h3] Don't get me wrong. My first playthrough took 16h, got 39/100 of achievements and I really loved every minute of it. My little problem is how similar this game is (if you compare it) to Volcano Princess. These games are basically one and same game with few twists. Also one character reminded me too much Ze from Volcano Princess so I couldn't romance him right away. Lets see if my opinion changes once I start new game+ because I pretty much messed up the first playthrough (which seems to be point of the game and story to mess up few times at first) I really loved how this game includes some pretty popular voice actors/actresses If you love to watch anime
