Magebuster: Amorous Augury

Decent voice acting and story, this would be greatly improved if it added some animations. I actually enjoy the battler aspect of the game and the multiple ending are substantially different. The unique art style adds some flavor to this game.

At time of review, I have played 4 of the Belgerum games and this is my favorite. The voice acting was fantastic, the story lines better than before. I definitely recommend this one. 7/10 For sure!

Worst Game Ever, the combat is almost impossible to win, deleting this game sucks I was really interested before getting, now wishing I hadn't wasted that money, thanks for nothing.

Back in early 2019, I received a free copy of this game to review for the "Anime Tiddies Connoisseur" Steam Curator group. It was near-immediately before this game's public release, and right after I had reviewed a free copy of the developer's previous work, "Demon King Domination", which definitely affected my opinions. I thought that this game had somewhat better combat system, better characters, and equally good voice acting, and I liked that there were multiple plot branches instead of a single sequence with some early "game overs". I did still note flaws, such as how repetitive it was to replay segments in order to see all the content (even if you follow the guide made by the actual developer), and that (like its predecessor) it included depictions of non-consensual sex, albeit "balanced" by scenes of mutual affection and other kinks. So, having not actually played this game since completing it back then, have my opinions changed? ...Well, I wouldn't still rate this as "highly" as I did before; there are now Sexual Content games with better gameplay, and better imagery, and at better prices too. But in comparison to the previous work, and -especially- in comparison to the majority of hentai shovelware currently on the market, I still think this scores above the median. So, if you like tsunderes and demons, and can understand that some things in fiction are NEVER okay in reality, then...well, good luck busting a mage!

Fun game, nothing too impressive if your looking for mechanical depth but it's a fun (and NSFW) time killer. Just maybe don't try to buy it on Itch.IO, I had the payment fail twice and got charged twice regardless, but the price even if not on sale is pretty cheap.
