I personally did not get much enjoyment out of this game. I found puzzles to be extremely tedious and obtuse. Art and music are fantastic as many have said but it isn't enough to counteract the frustration I had with the puzzles. I thoroughly enjoy a lot of different puzzle games but this did not scratch any itch for me. Having to repeat certain story elements over and over to progress just added to the tedium. I gave up trying to figure puzzles out on my own and decided to just use the page walkthrough guide when I got stuck. At a price of $20, this 3 hour experience from 17 years ago is not a great value. I got it on sale for $4 and still slightly regret it. If you want to experience the art and music of this game, it's a decent experience. There's a lot of charm and passion in the art and environments. Don't expect satisfying puzzles.
非常值得花时间游玩的一款解密游戏。虽然有一定的难度,但是get到点了还是玩的比较舒服。
çocukluğumun oyunuydu nostalji isteyenler için güzel bir tercih
I couldn't figure out why everyone on Steam was mentioning 17 years and then I see this was published in 2009!!! Crazy good game perhaps before its time in the adventure game resergance we're kinda seeing. Love almost everything about it - music is 100% Despite being painful as hell I loved the puzzles, characters are great - always love a game that communicates through body language and action the sense of the world is so strong yet almost nothing is told to us!! My one tiny gripe about this game is more a fair warning its quite 'clicky' the stunning environments often hide things you can interact with and front time time wee robo-guy will do a 'nup' when actually its a 'yump' Overall a beyond clever game - I don't think I've played an adventure game where I've been this satisfied solving a puzzle.
Beautiful adventure with nice music and well written funny story. Would recommend!
Bought this with Amanita Design's newest game Phonopolis as a bundle. Fantastic art and soundtrack, difficult (almost frustrating) puzzles. I've played Samorost 3 and I've always wondered why people would reference Machinarium so much. I can see where the design philosophy stems from. This makes me wanna play Samorost 3 again.

Super cool art style like stuff I used to draw, very nice environments and I like how it's not all polished pen lines it's left as a beautiful imperfect drawing. Charming enough story and characters. Some of the puzzles i got a bit frustrated at, like some areas backtracking or trying to figure out something subtle isnt my idea of the most fun in a game. Hopefully their later titles improve on this. If you REALLY like puzzles this is a good game, some were very creative which I liked.
