The levels are very short but offer a lot of charm and a surprising amount of variety in the gameplay, all while staying true to the N64 era 3D platformers we know and love. There's secrets to find, great music to listen to, funny dialogue, and plenty of nods to old games we love. Macbat doesn't do anything crazy unique or interesting, but it provides you with a great little nostalgia trip that'll keep you entertained for an hour, and for a perfect price. While the levels can be a little bit overly simplistic at times, if you're looking for a trip down memory lane or just want a short little game that'll leave you with a smile on your face, you can't go wrong with Macbat 64.
