M1 Tank Platoon II

这是款90年代末的游戏，与其说是游戏不如说是一款训练软件，其精妙的地方在于无论你想作为连排级指挥官，或一名精良的战车驾驶员、射手等都能够从中得到很多启发。 在该软件的背后，是一次著名的东70-73象限坦克大战，而承载其战斗的是第二装甲骑兵团的联队。 该软件可玩内容虽然不多但制作在当时而言是精良的，在今天看来画面和音乐等内容也非常值得借鉴。 然而，该软件在目前的电脑系统（兼容模式）上频繁出现闪退、退出战斗时卡死等情况，让游戏体验失色很多。 此外，游戏本身虽然具备教学内容，且与游戏本身体验有相关性。但教学内容未能与操作界面相关联，可见该软件作为游戏有一定的不足，但的确是一款很值得纪念的软件。

[h1]THIS GAME SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM STEAM[/h1] It requires you to modify your system in order to play; you are required to turn off NVIDIA G SYNC every time you play. It's an old game, but even a small bit of effort to adapt it to modern systems would've been nice. This is clearly a cash-grab that will play on customers nostalgia and it should be removed from Steam.

Cracking game, takes some time to get working with Glide FX, but when you do... its worth it! just dont make games like this anymore. Microprose at their finest.

This game is ageless! Still have it on floppies. Microprose was the best game simulations at the dawn of PC gaming. Still love it. FRAGGO!

This is fun but be warned, it doesn't work with multi-monitor displays. It's real cute that you rated this funny so it wouldn't show up, but, this game doesn't work, it's broke. Don't buy it.

Works 'out the box' for me, PC spec in profile if you are interested. I also have the original manual to reference. Very good nostalgic feelings from this, still fun, classic.

One of the best tank simulators but graphics could be better but then again it is from a quarter century ago lol (Btw everyone has been talking about games like steel beast which is to expensive and gunner heat pc which has so little content and is to early in development to even be considered a simulator as alternatives when really this simulator was the last real tank simulator that was easily accesibale to a normal user) So I beg someone whoever is reading this please make a tank simulator that doesnt cost $180 as this game is so realistic yet it only cost $70 at the time it was realesed.) If I made a mistake or something doesnt make sense please comment and I will fix.

I played this game on my first computer when I was a kid and it gave me a lot of joy. When I found this game on Steam, I remembered my childhood experiences and I immediately bought it. It's still a great game, and as a simulation tank game, it's even better than other similar games from this era.

I played this game two decades ago. Still my TOP 1 favorite tank sim. Sadly, this game crash on start while I'm using Surface Pro 7 (Windows 11) Have tried everything I know, but it just don't work. Wish anyone can help....
