Annemin en sevdiği oyunlarından biri tanesi o oynarken bende onu bazen seyrediyorum oldukça keyifli oluyor.
Absolute nostalgia... First played this on PSP (as "Pharaoh's Challenge"). This remastered release makes me relive it. ^^
Played this years, and years ago. It's good.
Luxor 2 is a nice followup to Luxor, with one important exception: by the time you're late in the game, it's just not fun. I don't mean I got tired of the Luxor gameplay. I mean the balls go by too fast and the levels have too many overlaps for you to actually succeed through anything other than luck. By the end (Stage 10 and beyond), every single game is spent frantically trying to clear balls from the final stretch as they creep toward the end. You need lucky initial color spreads in the chain and lucky powerups in order to even have a chance, and most of the time that's still not enough. The game tries to help you by slowing things down the more you fail, and sometimes - SOMETIMES - defaulting to the color you need to clear the furthest ball. The problem is that the later in the game you are, the less likely it is that you'll get the color you need, so you're doing your best to clear everything else while that lead ball just sits there, unable to be cleared. It's maddening. This all might be tolerable if the levels were shorter, but it feels like you have to maintain high-speed perfection for 10-15 minutes straight just to get to the end, and again, that's IF all the lucky things go your way too. If they don't, you're just going to be playing the same levels over and over again, getting more and more frustrated as you lose to things out of your control. Don't get Luxor 2. It's just not fun.
It's the same as the first Luxor HD, but with much better level backgrounds, slightly more complex maps (including ones with two lanes) and a few more power-ups, but with the trade-off of no controller support. It also has the same annoying design choice of stretching out the campaign with reused levels. It's okay, definitely better than the first entry. After playing with with the mouse a bit more, I think it really helps speed up the game, so while I still wish the campaign was organized in a more engaging way, there are other game modes like endless and level gauntlets. If you like what you see in gameplay video, it feels alright, but it's still one of the games where it can't offer you much more than you experience right at the start. It gets harder, sure, but not more interesting, and the repetitive music and lifeless atmosphere remain a detriment to the experience. I would love to see more people play this game because it is cool and awesome and amazing to play
If you plan to play this Luxor game, think twice if you are skilled and act quickly. If you lack any of these requirements, I would definitely recommend the original Luxor 2 over this, but you must get the game outside the steam (It won't work). All I want to say is that developer completely remained idle from testing the game before releasing, so do not play this game without practicing from other Luxor games.
