About
Lux Anima is calm and forgiving. You do not need perfect reactions or stressful micromanagement. Defend the core, grow your garden, and keep moving forward.

In Lux Anima, every spirit that threatens the Sacred Core can also become part of your progress. Defeat spirits with your Light Ring, collect the seeds they drop, and grow flowers. Defeated spirits can also slow enemies, clear space, or give extra rewards.
Every enemy you defeat helps your garden grow stronger.

Your flowers are more than simple towers. They are the heart of your progression. They protect the Sacred Core and generate essence during each run. Use essence to improve your attacks, strengthen your defenses, upgrade the core, and unlock spiritual companions.
The longer you survive, the more essence you gather. The more essence you gather, the stronger your next attempt becomes.

When a run ends, spend the essence your flowers created on upgrades for your next attempt. Failing does not erase your progress. Each run brings you closer to the next prestige, where new powers and progression layers become available.
In Lux Anima, you are always growing, even when you lose.

Nice little chill progression incremental, fully worth its price for the couple hours of its completion.
flower defense
Vibrant colors, interesting mechanics, and a garden that just wont quit growing? Yeah this ones for me. I've just finished the chill mode in a little over 3 hours. It's crazy fun, gonna try the harder mode next. If you like incremental games and bright colors grab this one!
A neat, near-idle defense title, with a nice concept. Love the idea of self-growing / placing / regenerating towers, and there are multiple types. Protect the core!
Really cute and cozy game. The art is super adorable and the music is so relaxing to listen to. It got so addictive that I couldn't stop playing until I finished it.
Very relaxing game, loved the music
it felt like meditating but under a little bit pressure, loved the vibe
This is an incremental game, so the core gameplay is intentionally simple. You have a bright orb in the middle of the screen that starts losing health the moment a run begins, and your goal is to protect it from the enemies constantly moving toward it. Enemies are defeated by moving your circle over them and keeping it there until the attack cooldown finishes. The circle attacks automatically in a continuous loop, so there is a bit of timing involved. If you move over an enemy just after an attack has triggered, you'll have to wait for the next one before it takes damage. The small seeds dropped by defeated enemies are essential for progression. Every time you collect two seeds, a flower grows next to the orb. Each flower slowly produces the game's main currency, essence, and the more flowers you have, the more essence you'll earn. Since the orb eventually runs out of health and ends every run, essence is spent on permanent upgrades between attempts. The upgrade tree starts with three nodes that improve damage, health, and flower gain. The number below each node shows how many more times you can purchase it to increase its level, although the essence cost rises with every upgrade. Thankfully, you don't need to fully upgrade a node to unlock new ones. Buying the first level is enough to reveal the next connected upgrades. I really liked the sense of discovery here because almost every node starts out hidden. You never quite know what you're about to uncover or how many new upgrades will branch off from the one you just bought. Before long, though, you'll notice that progression comes to a halt because many upgrades remain locked until you prestige. Prestiging becomes available once you completely fill the lantern in the lower right corner with essence during a single run. In practice, this usually means buying every upgrade you currently have access to, so there isn't much opportunity to rush ahead. Unlike many incremental games, though, prestiging doesn't wipe your progress. You keep all of your upgrades and simply unlock additional nodes that become available at the new prestige level. Each new prestige level increases the amount of essence produced by flowers, but it also makes enemies tougher and harder to defeat. Fortunately, you can switch back to a lower prestige level whenever you want. I appreciated this feature because it lets you farm essence comfortably instead of struggling against enemies that take too long to kill. Every upgrade node offers something unique. You'll unlock new enemy and flower types, earn more seeds from defeated enemies, add health regeneration to the bright orb, increase the circle's size, and much more. Most upgrades provide fairly small bonuses, though, so progress feels gradual and it takes some time before the improvements become truly noticeable. It took me a few hours to finish the game and earn every achievement, which felt like a reasonable length. That said, the experience became quite repetitive since you're fighting the same four enemy types throughout the entire game. Progress is very slow at start, but then jumps forward considerably near the end, where you spend grinding essence to fully complete the upgrade tree.
Ive played about 2 hours so far and am loving it. The game is $4.50 when not on sale, I got exactly what I expect from that price point. A fun relaxing little incremental tower defense game that I play while listening to a podcast or something.
it's chill
