Lust from Beyond: Prologue

Incredible visuals. the character models are very minimalist though and because of how the overall visuals are, it makes the characters feel weird and misplaced somehow. But the game's very cool. (And hot I guess?)

This game was excellent, just the right amount of shock, weird and cultism. Excited to check out the other games on offer.

I played Lust For Darkness and I enjoyed it so I decided to check out Lust From Beyond: Prologue since it's free, and I really love the introduction to this sequel. I'm hoping it goes on sell soon so I can buy the full game. I think I might enjoy this sequel than the first game. Anyways, I highly suggest playing this if you're into horror games mix with a bit erotic content.

Lust from Beyond: Prologue is a horror adventure game, which continues the story from Lust for Darkness. It serves as a standalone short story introduction to full version of Lust from Beyond. Though if you have played Lust for Darkness, it's a direct continuation of the story started there. A new protagonist ends up in the clutches of the Cult of Ecstasy, simple Christopher, lured in by the cult for his ability as a Seeing. Christopher is tormented by visions of a sinister world full of lechery and pain. To learn its secrets, he joins up with the Cult of Ecstasy, though they've known about him for quite some time and lures him in with the alluring bosom of one of the members of the cult. The Cult of Ecstasy is now led by Sabinian, one of the cultists from Lust for Darkness as he continues searching for the means to gain access to the world of Lusst'ghaa. Where they seek eternal pleasure. Gameplay wise it continues the Gigeresque otherworldly landscapes seen in Lust for Darkness and mechanically it adds a few more bits, such as Health and Sanity meters. It's still seeped in sweat and gore. Again the game sells itself on the puzzles, going so far as to call them Ingenious, I don't know whether the designer gets off on boasting as such, but that's a step too far in describing somewhat simple mechanics. The voice overs are a bit hit and miss, Christopher is a bit off at times, though that may be because of the way his character is written. The naivete seeps through. There's more tension this time around, but also more annoying jump scares and running from otherworldly monstrosities. As an appetizer it tastes better than Lust for Darkness.
