Few things I liked: the artwork and the creativity of the characters and levels Few things I disliked: no true online play, clunky way of setting up remote play together, online multiplayer really doesn't showcase if it's actually searching online or if it is looking on LAN. I received this as a review copy to stream, honestly after playing a round against bots. I lost interest in streaming it due to how cumbersome the multiplayer action was to even set up. During the bot gameplay during AV testing, it gives off vibes of a Gang Beasts/Party Animals, but mechanically could do a little better control wise to get up to par to feel smoother even for a new player. It felt like the controls were not listening well to my controller, which was another fear if I did go through with streaming it. I currently wouldn’t recommend, but does have potential.
A fast paced multiplayer game. Visually it is very atractive, the scenarios are compelling and full of motion and collor, blend well with all the action. Artworks are fully original, as backgrounds, characters are all custom made and all have their personalities. All characters are unique, in both style and abilities. Some are easy to master, others are harder, but they are all rewarding. Gamewise, it is an action packed, kick them all game. The fun is always guaranteed since you can compete amongst friends and include some cpus to harden the matches. Overall it is a very nice and fun game, greeat for multiplayer and solo play alike.
--Will be updating as I play/unlock/discover more-- Lunch A Palooza is an apparent heir to those party games from the PS1/N64 time. The premise is simple: be a d**k of a food and annoy your friends by establishing your supremacy as the king of the table, whether they like it or not. Elements like the music, the graphics, the controller prompts, remind me of the good ol' Mario Party (and others in that style) games. Which, if you are into nostalgia as much as myself, is a great thing. If you are part of the "what's a VHS" age group, you'll definitely appreciate the simplicity of the interface and overall accessibility. There's an online mode, but the local multiplayer is the main thing I've been playing and the main course of this Lunch. Again, the game itself it's simple, and it is a party game: without a party you might not enjoy it too much, but the moment two or more people get together to play, it's super enjoyable. I really hope more content/modes are released, maybe different minigames to bring more value to this small gem. So get yourself a controller (or two, or three) and as many friends and hit the kitchen!
First I want to mention I got a key for this game from a producer of the game for free with no requirements to play or stream or review so this review is of my own opinion and not sponsored in any way. I'll start with Pro's Pro: A lot of fun. I played for about an hour and a half and will likely continue to play more this weekend. The game rounds are short sometimes lasting only a minute maybe up to 3 minutes. Very casual fun game play of a similar to smash brothers style game where you have to knock others off the table. If you remember back to PS1 games where you had similar arena games this feels like childhood again and was quite enjoyable. You can remote play this game with anyone on your friends list. Making it so only you need to own it and nobody else does but they can all play. Compatible with a controller (I use steam, but xbox works too). Very easy to unlock more characters/skins/levels without having to grind. You can add computers and play by yourself. Con: I could not find a way to join with others through local or online game play outside of remote play Remote play with 1 person game rate is fine, but when you have remote play with 2 or more players the players tend to get dropped and have latency issues. Achievements do not currently seem to be working, although this may be due to I only played remote play have not tested single play or online play. Since I cannot figure out how to do online play.
Un juego entretenido para jugar con familia y amigos, personajes variados con habilidades unicas. escenarios muy bien hechos con sus ambientaciones muy bien definidas. Un contador de tiempo podria darle un poco mas de dinamismo y velocidad a los combates. ¿deberias jugar a lunch a palooza? SEH!
Got it since Early Acess and I'm happy with the minor tweaks the studio has done. It's a very fun casual game that is best enjoyed with friends. Also, the stages are very colorful and look awesome.
Sieht schön aus, aber hat zuwenig zu bieten. Außerdem wurde der Online Multiplayer abgeschalten. D:
