Lumencraft is a unique combination of a top-down, rogue-like shooter and base building with tower defense elements. Dig and light up dark halls of a fully destructible environment on procedurally generated maps and campaign levels to find precious Lumen - humanity's only chance for survival.

what's going on down there
Клево , игру доделали, есть большая и досточно интересная кампания (миссии различаются).
Crashed during the tutorial. Also didn't do that well explaining how to pull out a gun to deal with the first enemies that spawned while mining.
收集,建造,塔防,射击,升级。就是没有剧情比较可惜。要是有剧情背景故事这游戏会非常火。
It's a good exploration and tower defense game!
(game not complete and dropped at 1.8 hours of gameplay at time of review, part of my review all my games effort) (short version) Tower defense with extra steps. Lumencraft is a top down diablo style crafting/tower defense game where you go out to mine materials to build a base and upgrade a base while maintaining scarce ammo for your weapons. Often stuttery it still feels a bit early alpha. Music is... meh. $20 is about $5 too much in my opinion. (Long version) no long version needed
so many wonderfull thing to say lets start with price not bad at all considering the content so far . im almost 40 hrs in and trying to get my kids to buy so we can rock it together ! so many referance's to SST/starcraft/and many more best game purchase iv mad this year so far !!!!!
Okay, played the tutorial, and one game that I lost, and I think I can give a basic review. It's a mixed bag, but over all, it's fun. It isn't as tower defense as I would have liked, in fact it is primarily a mining game, with some combat. On the downside, I find the UI very awkward, and there are only two types of things to mine really, lumen, a kind of gem, and metal. A wider variety of things to mine would have been nice. I also find the clipping to be very irritating, far too sensitive, especially when trying to place a build. If a building can go in a basic area, then let me build it, sometimes it was like those old frustrating point and click games where it had to be the exact pixel. Grrr.... And the auto save is quite intrusive and annoying. Load times in general seem quite long. Even after playing the tutorial, there seemed a lot of things to figure out. There is this strange beeping that I hear that goes faster and slower, no clue why. That said, lots of things to build, which is okay. I guess there are about twenty buildings? Give or take. Sadly only three kinds of defensive towers (not counting walls and gates) There is also an active community and fan-built modules. Always nice. A few things I would wish for, the ability to have the waves further apart for players who like to focus on the building for one. I think it has potential though, and will certainly play it some more. For now, one thumb up. ADDENDUM: Also crashed a bit. ADDENDUM: Gets kind of monotonous. The first mission, on easy, went at least fourteen waves, but after about nine I had no time to do anything but repair my base and wait for the next onslaught. Yawn.
This game is close to a good game, but it's not. - Lava is annoying, no real way to deal with it - Bedrock walls are annoying to deal with, because they surround lava and resources, and you can't break it to your advantage. - Lack of enemies - Campaign detracts from the main genre of the game. We played 2 missions and was like wtf is this, and then did a base defense mission - Research is annoying and too random. There are too many "Good" "Useful" things hidden behind tech and the RNG of possibly getting it. - Maps are too small, leading to a deficient in resources. - Maxed out Lumen farm gives like 40~ lumen? Wtf? - Killing nest doesn't affect the waves where enemy waves come from? Confusion? - Coop shared screen is awful. I feel like i got a bit bamboozled here. I read coop and missed the "Shared" part when i bought it. and it was like ok well w.e we can still play, and it was just constant bumping into each other, one person setting their controller down, while the other builds or something. This is not a game meant for a shared screen. - Poor Camera and zoom: Also the screen doesn't properly zoom out for coop we could stand by each other on our wall stand, and only be seeing the edge of the wall, so you can't even get the excitement of seeing the waves coming and blasting them, you had to wait till they touch your wall - controller controls are awful - Tutorial is awful and doesn't teach you anything useful, and its unnecessarily long - The color of all the walls are wayyyy too similar. Lava looks like normal metal, causing constant .... mishaps. - Optimization seems to be a bit lacking, the autosaving is super jarring, i dont think ive seen a game pause my game for 5 secs + to save in years. Which is wild this game does it. There is a good game here but it's buried under poor design decisions, RNG, and lack of QOL features. Maybe a sequel could save this. But this game very much feels like a game still trying to discover what it wants to be that you would typically see in an Early access.
