one of my favorite games from my favorite era of games, i loved it so much as a kid its beautfiul its fun and its beautiful its that sipmple !!11
great game — easy to get into and full of nostalgia. the only downside is the 20 and 40 hour achievements. plus, this game could run on a rock.
really enjoying being a little devil Ψ(`‿´ # )↝ so glad to finally get to play this game myself after years of watching pewdiepie play it over and over and over again since i was like 11!! soundtrack 11/10 sound effects 10/10 love the weather/seasonal changes the gruesome death cutscenes are too good ui is very nice game runs really smooth i personally love how the game looks, its a bit rough cus its older but honestly that adds to the whole vibe only "negative" thing would be the manor literally feels like a maze sometimes even after years of watching gameplay heh (ill most likely get used to it the more i play tho) and sometimes its a bit hard to understand exactly what u have to do when setting up certain killings but i usually remember and even if i dont its at least nice for exploring and wandering around so not that big of a negative unless youre trying to rush
Lucius is a notable horror game, The main story takes roughly 6 to 8 hours to complete. You play as Lucius, the son of Lucifer, who receives supernatural powers on his sixth birthday and is tasked with eliminating everyone inside Dante Manor. The atmosphere is twisted and macabre, designed to feel like a classic 1970s horror vibe The gameplay involves orchestrating various "accidents" using telekinesis, mind control, and everyday household items to make the family kill them self with mind control or by ruining their life telekinesis is used for various things including the killings you can also set people on fire being that you have the hellfire of lucifer in you For true horror fans who crave pitch black ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up themes, this game is an absolute must play. If you love grim storylines and creative, bloody gore, staging these brutal "accidents" using telekinesis, mind control, and everyday household items delivers some, twisted satisfaction as you kill the family and estate staff. But you should be prepared for the fact that it is frequently prone to glitches sadly. The story pacing is effective and keeps the player engaged, though the actual gameplay can be tricky and confusing at times. The puzzles are challenging, and it is often unclear what the next objective is due to highly cryptic riddles. However, by exploring the manor and listening in on conversations, interacting with the characters, you can eventually determine the necessary steps to progress. Despite the regular technical issues, physics glitches, and crashes, it remains a unique evil puzzle horror game for those interested in the genre. For horror fans looking for incredible atmosphere and gruesome kills, it is entirely worth pushing through the bugs. ps: THIS GAME LOOKS FIRE WITH SHADERGLASS (free on steam, has filters to make your game look better, had mine on a crt filter and it looked amazing with scanlines)
Would recommend. Came here expecting a horror game. Left wondering why I wanted to adopt the son of the Devil. Yes, he's evil. Yes, he murders people. Yes, he's responsible for absolute chaos. Unfortunately for everyone else... he's also just a little guy. If evil, why tiny?
Nota Geral | Overall Rating
Lucius is a game that lives off a brilliant premise: you are the Antichrist's son, and your mission is to kill every member of your own family while disguising the murders as household accidents. It's a disturbing enough and creative idea to carry the game for a few hours, but the technical execution leaves a lot to be desired. What remains is the feeling of a brilliant concept trapped inside a mediocre game, with stiff animations, problematic AI, and a learning curve that relies more on trial and error than on real reasoning.
Jogabilidade | Gameplay
The demonic powers system, like telekinesis, pyrokinesis, and mind control, is interesting on paper, but in practice it runs into clumsy execution. Many of the "accidents" require an exact sequence of actions that only works if you already know what to do, turning puzzles that should be about dark creativity into walkthrough memorization. Lucius's movement is slow and stiff, and the camera often gets in the way more than it helps in enclosed spaces. The NPC AI is also quite flawed, swinging between suspecting everything and completely ignoring obvious evidence.
The game has a reasonable length, between 6 and 8 hours to complete the main chapters and eliminate the entire family. It's an adequate amount of time for the premise not to wear thin, but a good chunk of it is inflated by the amount of trial and error needed to get each murder right the way the game expects. If we only counted the "correct" execution time, the campaign would be much shorter.
Enredo | Story
The premise is what grabs the most attention, but the plot itself doesn't develop it in a satisfying way. Lucius simply kills his family following demonic instructions, without much reflection on what that means for the character or any real arc of transformation. There's a lack of depth in the motives behind each murder, and the dialogue is functional at best, never memorable. It's a story that survives only on the initial shock of the idea, without building anything beyond that.
Visual
Visually, the game is dated even for its time of release. Facial animations are stiff, character models have little expressiveness, and the mansion, though interesting in design on paper (with several rooms and areas to explore), is executed generically, without much detail to reinforce the dark atmosphere the premise called for.
The soundtrack is forgettable, with no theme that reinforces the sinister tone the game tries to build. The voice acting is also weak, with mechanical performances that take away credibility from moments that should be unsettling. The sound effects for the "accidents" do the bare minimum, but with no extra polish to help sell the brutality of the deaths.
excelente juego
