Lover Bands

Fun co-op game that tests teamwork and communication, with simple and easy-to-pick-up gameplay. I thought the levels were really creative and well-designed, each level felt like a fresh new challenge. I also tried playing by myself, and it replaces the teamwork/communication challenge with a new coordination/multi-tasking challenge. The music and art give the game a cheery and unassuming feel, which softens the blow ever so slightly when you run into the same spike for the 10th time. Pros: simple and easy to get into; genuinely challenging without gimmicks; lots of frustrated laughing with your teammate; playing both characters yourself really trains your brain to multi-task Cons: some parts of some levels are a bit too difficult and thus too frustrating; movement is a little sticky and less responsive than I would like (slow to start and slow to stop), which isn't great for someone not used to platformer games

This game is enjoyable, the difficulty gets really high really fast, so it'll really test your ability to work together well with your friend or whoever you decide to play with. Enjoyable couch co-op title

A fun, challenging, cute game for two people. Despite the shouting, raging, blaming, complaining, dying, fuming, and incessant fighting, I feel like this game strengthened the bond between me and my partner. The artwork and music really add to the atmosphere and soften the inevitable blows to the face that occur during gameplay. I highly recommend the promotional video created by the developers, it really demonstrates how committed to this they were.

Lover bands Ruined my relationship. I saw these two cute squares at an incredible price point on steam so i decided to dive into the wonderful world of lover bands. Although a name such as tether together would better fit this game, i found it to be quite complementary. The gameplay is quite simple. There is a trick to press down to ground pound. I played this with my lover, now ex-lover, and we found out we were not meant for each other. This was a great learning experience. I think every couple should play this game to test their compatibility. I really enjoyed the challenge mode. It was fast paced and fun. Also I checked out the twitch stream and it was a blast! would recommend. The "Lover bands" trailer is also very funny and was worth the game!

I like the concept, but the lack of controller support was frustrating, as was the game.

I loved it! As a 2P game, we really enjoyed all the strategy and coordination needed to overcome the obstacles. The physics are realistic and most importantly, was SO entertaining to play around with! Also, the hitboxes were very consistent. Each level also has just the right amount of progression in difficulty so it's easy to get the hang of the game! In addition, the graphics are very cute and the music reminds me of the track from Zelda: Wind Waker. :) It's the BEST casual game I've played and even more fun as a 2P game!
