I personally love this game so much 🧸🤎 It’s a short, cozy little game about the small, everyday moments between a couple, and a lot of them feel really relatable, like things you’ve probably experienced yourself. Each scene shows simple, warm interactions such as spending time together, sharing quiet moments, or doing little things for each other. The art style is super soft and pretty, and the hidden object puzzles are really easy. I especially love the art style, it’s just so gentle and comforting. I’m also really into cozy games, so this one felt perfect for me. Overall, it’s a lovely and emotional little game that feels like a warm hug. I’d definitely recommend it if you want something calm, meaningful, and easy to enjoy :)

The little scenes are cute, the picture nicely drawn. But it is really just a hidden objects game with very repeptitive gameplay. You have 31 levels each with around 10 "maps" where you look for letters, numbers or random objects. What you are looking for has no connection to the scene at the start of the level and the story is kinda umbled up and doesn't really tell a whole story. It took me 4.5 hours to complete all maps and finish the game but there are better hidden objects games, better story games and the art would have probably worked better in a comic or something...

The reviews and art style of the game made me want to try the game, but it was a pretty boring experience. There's a narrative but not a lot of story, it's more like a slice of life. Not a lot happens and there's a couple beats that never get resolved. On a technical level, the art is the best thing about this game, especially the watercolor that spreads across the scenes. The music's nice too. Everything else? Not for me. A lot of the individual scenes in a chapter don't have anything to do with the cutscene of the chapter, plus they throw in a sentence or two (or a quote) at the end of each level that really doesn't add anything. I feel like they could've used that space to do more; without a cohesive story, it felt like there was nothing to look forward to. I'm not a fan of it kicking you back into the menu rather than transitioning to the next level after finishing the previous one. The English translation is a little rough, too. After you finish the last level/scene of the game, it just ends. No credits or final cutscene. Left me feeling underwhelmed.

I had crush on a classmate in middle school but I never took a chance to say it, every now and then I still imagine being in love with that person but playing this slice-of-life game let me experience those feelings in a way I never did before, now I let the idea of love go. All I can say is I'm happily to be alone now but I am also open to changing my mind in the future, if that day ever comes I hove I'll be wiser, clearer, more grounded than I am today, and I will definitely take the shot. Love is in small things is a story based hidden object game. The story is cute and the artstyle is done really well too. Even though it is not narrated, they really told the story well and I enjoyed it.

A most gentle, relaxing, cosy, hidden item game. The tale of falling in love softly unfolds within the most beautiful illustrations, accompanied by an enchantingly tranquil soundtrack, and heart warming quotes. It's just perfect for decompressing. I'm about half way through now, and the 3 variations of item sets suit me well enough, I don't understand the negativity or boredom directed at that aspect in all honesty, it offers a lot more variation than say a hidden cat or dog game. The levels themselves aren't particularly long, but there are a lot of them, you most deffo get your monies worth. I use these types of games to chill out with during work, or to take a pause when I'm getting stressed multitasking, and honestly, it ticks all the right boxes for that, and is utterly charming.
