I was hoping the story would carry the game through since I really dislike precision platformers. Unfortunately I feel the narrative was too abstract to be coherent for the most part. After so much suffering trying to progress, it felt incredibly unfulfilling once I beat it. The controls are smooth - so at least when I struggled to get past something it was my own error and no fault of the level design or controls. The visuals were excellent, I liked them a lot. However, there were times where the pixel art and color choice got muddled together and became difficult to translate what I was looking at, which did not feel intentional. Overall, If you don't enjoy platformers, I recommend skipping this one because story/visuals are not good enough to save it IMO. If you enjoy the platformer gameplay style, then all of the extra theatrical effort that went beyond what typical precision platformer games usually do will be a treat.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I did not expect the writing to be as funny at time as it was, but I thoroughly enjoyed the game Its a demanding precision platformer where you have to manage your velocity and time your inputs perfectly in order to progress. It instantly returns you to the beginning of the room on death and tries to allieviate frustration as much as possible, although some sections (The final challange comes to mind, not because of its difficulty, but because of the presence on the right side of the screen) were beyond frustrating. It's all in good fun though, and I would recommend it for anyone who enjoyed VVVVVVV or Celeste Just when the gameplay loop becomes stale, the game finds a way to introduce new interesting concepts and idea sthat renew your interest and keep you hooked. It's full of surprises and both horror and humour elements are done really well. The plot is a bit confusing by the tail end of it, but I feel like I've achieved only one ending and there's much more to discover. All things considered its a great title to pick up and play through for an evening or two, definately worth checking out
If you are curious about LOVE ETERNAL and at any point plan on playing it do not watch the trailer and just take the plunge. The game is playable in about an afternoon and requires you to go in blind, it frustrates me that the trailer spoils some of the main points of the game & scares. This game is good, it's so good. The story and visuals work together blending the unsettling Lynchian atmosphere into a five hour session of uncanny physic platforming fun (and then some). While the game is primarily story focused with the platforming feeling more like an afterthought in terms of how it fits in narratively, the gameplay is polished and feels so good with clear inspiration from VVVVVV and Celeste. Some of the levels out of nowhere are incredibly challenging, especially the very last level which some of the other outside features make it feel truly taunting, iykyk. But the saves are very generously spread between levels and even within the challenge itself which saves the game from becoming overly daunting with it's unforgiving one hit kill platforming. One of the few games out there that are extremely artsy but doesn't overstay it's welcome with its hypnotic art style and cryptic story sprinkled without which hooked me in. This is one that anyone who wants a short game to breeze through while having some actual challenge to keep them mentally engaged will adore.
I was curious about this game after watching the trailer during a showcase. I totally missed its release, and when I noticed it came out I thought "OK, let's try what seems to be a Celeste/Super Meat Boy clone. Might be fun, or might be just rage-inducing.". Four hours later, and I'm shocked. This game is something special. It's way more than it looks, I don't want to spoil it. It just kept going and surprising me. The last game I played where I went in and came out the other end feeling this way is Outer Wilds, which is probably my favorite game ever. It also has great art, atmosphere, sound design, music, dark ambient drones, and a beautiful weird / eerie atmosphere. It's absolutely not for everyone, but to me, it's a masterpiece. If you just can't stand challenging platformers, this might not be for you even if there's more to it. Otherwise I totally recommend it!
Not the greatest platformer of all time but overall the experience is just fantastic. There is a section towards the end that is surreal in a way only a video game could be. Ground breaking stuff!
AAAAAAAAAAAAH On one hand DAMN is this game hard, but on the other hand, I managed to beat it without hitting my head against a wall for hours so thank you for the quite amazing experience of being chalenged and overcoming this game ♥ Plus it's gorgeous looking, with a powerfull ambiance and story (I didn't understand everything, guess I'll have to replay it later ._. ) Joke aside I had a blast and can't wait to see what the creators will do next !!
one of the most unique experiences I have ever had playing a video game. PLEASE play this game.
Silly game if you love silly games you’ll love this silly game
Amazing game. Cool sound design, beautiful pixel graphics, intriguing story, fun and challenging gameplay, this game has it all. I don't usually buy games soon after their release, but this game looked like a very interesting precision platformer so I had to play it.
