Idle sci-fi RPG where combat actually matters. Crash-landed on an alien world, you rebuild through five skills, melee/ranged/void-magic combat, and a server-wide world boss. Progress keeps going while you're AFK. Solo, co-op, or faction raids. Free to play. No pay-to-win.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
You crash-landed on an alien world. The ship is scrap, the planet is hostile, and progress doesn't stop when you step away. Lost Vessel is a sci-fi idle RPG with real combat, deep crafting, and a slow climb back toward the stars - playable in thirty-second bursts or five-hour grinds. Free to play, no pay-to-win, ever.
Five skills pull you back from zero: salvage the wreckage, mine the planet, harvest alien flora, fabricate weapons and armor, analyze every sample for the next tier of everything. Each skill compounds the others - endgame materials require components from all five.
A melee / ranged / void-magic triangle where every enemy has a weakness. Crits, armor pierce, dodges, reflects, instant kills on legendary gear. Weapons degrade with use and break permanently if you let them. Fight through zones with escalating difficulty all the way to a dimensional rift at the endgame.
Equipment starts common and works up through rare, epic, and legendary at the Forge. Legendaries aren't just bigger numbers - 5% instant-kill, 25% skill-speed auras, damage reflection. Loadouts let you switch a combat kit, a gathering kit, and a backup with one tap. Durability matters. Repair matters. Choices matter.
Assemble I.D.L.E. from parts and you get a second skill queue running in parallel. He's sarcastic, he complains constantly, and he runs on Voidshine - a cross-skill endgame fuel that needs materials from combat, biology, and fabrication. Keep him fed and he grinds while you sleep.
The Nexus Drift is the co-op hub: 2-4 player expeditions, a server-wide world boss, and specialist jobs that pay weekly tokens. Raiders is the PvP side: pick a faction, raid other players, defend your colony, fight for territory. Both are completely optional - solo players lose nothing.
Offline progression is genuinely idle - skills work while the browser or Steam client is closed. A 17-track mastery system grants permanent passive bonuses every time you hit a milestone. Ship augments are a 110-level talent tree for fine-tuning your build. No energy timers, no stamina bars, no premium currency. Just progression.
Optional cosmetic supporter packs let you back the game and show off - exclusive titles, name effects, and profile flair. Cosmetic only, never power, never an advantage.

After playing for 6 days this isnt a IDLE player game it is a constant check stuff still needs to be done like resource gathering, this makes this game super boring and super slow, I laugh at the fools paying $50 for a founder role with no benefits. IDLE Itself is slow and useless and needs better or faster speed to be useless from talking to others in chat they all agree its better not to create the idle robot as its useless.

Its a great idle game with a positive helpful community. The UI is clean and nice to look at, different from most other management type games I've played. Highly recommend if you enjoy idle/incremental type games with a community that loves to talk.
Lost Vessel is a pretty good idle game. It's grown on me rather quickly and I can see myself sticking around. The UI is a little intimidating at first but the in-game guides and codex are comprehensive enough that I never felt lost for long. There's always a variety of tasks to perform, unlike some other idles where it's just "let combat run." There's also a live in-game chat and the community's been very welcoming and supportive to new blood. The developer pops in almost every day to hang out, and I love seeing the attention he gives to his players. Also, I've got a potato PC but the game still runs pretty well even when I have it on the background, unlike some other idle games of this type. If I had a gripe I wish that you could queue up different tasks like "Mine X platinum then Craft Y base plates" instead of setting a single task to run until you log back in. But I don't find that a big deal (yet).
dont play it long term! you need to much ♥♥♥♥ for upgrades that dont do ♥♥♥♥ weapons have durability of paper and cost to much to make to be word it you have an idle companion but cant use it until late game and it burn items you cant make for them to be burn items. for upgrades you only get a +3 MAX to the items you get and the speed ad witch you get them makes that not worth it. can yoiu increase the speed ad witch you get thing yes but it is per catecory and you spend to much on it min 300.000 to get to level 4 out of 5 and thats the basic one the other one also hase 5 levels but you need advanced stuf to upgrade witch comes out rufly the same but in defrend items you log in look ad what you still need and then reset the idle timer so every 8 hours you can reset if you can do that?
cool
Fun and engaging idle game with a dev that really cares. The only in game purchases are some supporter cosmetic packs. The dev is adding new features and is active in chat to hear players input and questions about the game.
A well made and presented idle game with lots of content. Reaching prestige seems to take well over a month. I started playing in browser before migrating to Steam so after a month I'm at level 60 and prestige is at level 100. Just hoping there's enough content to keep me interested for the remaining levels. Feedback: Sound effects are atrocious compared to the otherwise slick visuals. I'm playing with the game muted because the sounds are so obviously from some free asset pack. The research complete sfx is probably the worst and plays frequently in combat for some reason. Some sounds don't fit the sci-fi theme at all. It just needs a complete overhaul. The UI looks good with a consistent theme. There are a bunch of stuff that is not really used though, so a setting to customize which buttons to show would be great. Like for instance I have no use for the Roadmap, Tools, Voidhaven buttons which are just cluttering up the space. The most urgent UI fix I'd like to see is to reduce the flashing in the message field at the bottom. Once again, I have no use for "Galaxy" and would like to have a setting to display only tabs I care about. Please remove the flashing and just keep the notification dot if you must.
