Idle sci-fi RPG where combat actually matters. Crash-landed on an alien world, you rebuild through five skills, melee/ranged/void-magic combat, and a server-wide world boss. Progress keeps going while you're AFK. Solo, co-op, or faction raids. Free to play. No pay-to-win.

About
You crash-landed on an alien world. The ship is scrap, the planet is hostile, and progress doesn't stop when you step away. Lost Vessel is a sci-fi idle RPG with real combat, deep crafting, and a slow climb back toward the stars - playable in thirty-second bursts or five-hour grinds. Free to play, no pay-to-win, ever.
Five skills pull you back from zero: salvage the wreckage, mine the planet, harvest alien flora, fabricate weapons and armor, analyze every sample for the next tier of everything. Each skill compounds the others - endgame materials require components from all five.
A melee / ranged / void-magic triangle where every enemy has a weakness. Crits, armor pierce, dodges, reflects, instant kills on legendary gear. Weapons degrade with use and break permanently if you let them. Fight through zones with escalating difficulty all the way to a dimensional rift at the endgame.
Equipment starts common and works up through rare, epic, and legendary at the Forge. Legendaries aren't just bigger numbers - 5% instant-kill, 25% skill-speed auras, damage reflection. Loadouts let you switch a combat kit, a gathering kit, and a backup with one tap. Durability matters. Repair matters. Choices matter.
Assemble I.D.L.E. from parts and you get a second skill queue running in parallel. He's sarcastic, he complains constantly, and he runs on Voidshine - a cross-skill endgame fuel that needs materials from combat, biology, and fabrication. Keep him fed and he grinds while you sleep.
The Nexus Drift is the co-op hub: 2-4 player expeditions, a server-wide world boss, and specialist jobs that pay weekly tokens. Raiders is the PvP side: pick a faction, raid other players, defend your colony, fight for territory. Both are completely optional - solo players lose nothing.
Offline progression is genuinely idle - skills work while the browser or Steam client is closed. A 17-track mastery system grants permanent passive bonuses every time you hit a milestone. Ship augments are a 110-level talent tree for fine-tuning your build. No energy timers, no stamina bars, no premium currency. Just progression.
Optional cosmetic supporter packs let you back the game and show off - exclusive titles, name effects, and profile flair. Cosmetic only, never power, never an advantage.

I am having a lot of fun with this one so far. It has the standard idle game features with a lot of room for active gameplay if wanted.
Really well made game, great Dev and community. Amazing it is free and no Pay to Win! Recommended for sure.
we need chinese!!! cool
It's a nice idle game with plenty of depth, with a friendly community, and done by a single developer.
Chill idle game without pay to progress nonsense.
A fun idle game! I'd played quite a few of this style and this one is a very solid game. I find it to be more intuitive than many that are out there - even though there is a lot, it is introduced fairly slowly and it all so far has been intuitive so I've never felt lost. Some upgrades for convenience are locked behind a small time gate but I don't really have an issue with that (such as auto - healing). The mission system is pretty good at leading you through what you need to be aiming for. I admittedly have put it on pause and am just doing my own thing and it's still fun which says a lot about how well the game is built. The only real complaint I have so far is that tools disappear when durability hits 0 instead of letting me repair them. Pretty minor overall, and maybe auto-repair comes later in the game anyway. For free - you can't really go wrong, absolutely worth giving a shot. I'll update later if my thoughts change after I pour more time into it.
"Lost Vessel" is a good idle game at its core as the game can be run in idle mode practically from the very beginning. This also means that progression is rather slow, but for a F2P game with no P2W it's alright. Though I do like incremental/idle games, this one felt too unrewarding for me as gameplay consists purely of watching numbers go higher, bars filling up, other numbers shrinking, making said numbers go up again ... I will not let my personal experience affect this review negatively though, as I see this rather as a very niche project with a rather smaller target audience - and as such this game is practically flawless. I am certain that through further progression more in-depth features can be unlocked that make the game more (a lot more) enjoyable, but I am not going to witness that in the near future.
Was schönes für nebenbei und ganz ohne P2W.
