Rubber band, Rubber band, Crash Crash Crash Run Run Run Find a town, there's no loot Game Crashed Character Erased x 2 Refunded For being in the works for 2 years, this game really shows it needs 2 more before they start asking anyone for money.
This game is an absolute dumpster fire, that has been in development for over 2 years. Each trailer we saw throughout the 2 years, showed different features like wildlife, that just aren't present in the current game. The devs have even stated that they weren't happy with the current state of the game, yet still thought it was right to ask for $20.00 Video Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKY_KuI5Ocg Pros - Runs well enough - Graphics aren't the worst, but they are BY FAR not the best Cons - Laggy servers, resulting in rubberbanding, and so much lag that you can't even move sometimes - World is empty. Loot tables are broken. No NPCs to interact with. No wildlife to kill. World is just...barren. - Charging WAY TOO MUCH for an Early Access game in this state. It could use another 2 years before going to Early Access, not even full release. Just stay away.

I thought I'd give it a shot despite the "Mostly Negative" reviews. You know literally every other early-access survival sandbox on steam? Imagine they all got together and had a massive orgy. Lost Region is the pile of sweat and fluid they left behind. It's not even worth it to go into the individual things wrong with this game. However my best, brief summary of this game is "Baby's first survival sandbox". It wants to be like all the other survival sandboxes, but doesn't do even a single thing competently. Don't let the halfway decent graphics fool you, the dev(s) have UE4 to thank for that. Also, while I can't tell for sure, I'm almost 99% certain most if not all the assets are prefab's, likely off the UE4 store. Bottom line; Even if it were free, it's not worth it.
literally payed for this game when it was first on steam and realized there was alot of bugs sooo yes like a decent person i kept the game an waited for them to make it better. now you do a big update and i have to buy your game again to buy it when i never refunded it that is trash and feel cheated out of what i payed to back your pos game
Early Access. The dev's have been VERY responsive to any questions/bugs via discord. If you're gonna get the game now, get it to with knowledge that it is still being worked on. Looks good so far, lots of detail and area to explore.
The fact the Developer is still updating this game shows that they are trying there best to get it to a stable point. Yes its Very buggy currently but thats why its in EA. Instead of trash talking devs give them info so they can fix these bugs that annoy us players.
I got this game back well before it was available on steam, it had a lot of potential to become a good game. Thought I play it again now to see the improvements, To be greatly disappointed. This game has gotten really bad, the movement, I jumped and was injured, you get stuck on small rocks on the ground. when i bought this game from there website many years ago i had a in game backpack and a weapon, i no longer have that. I can NOT Recommend this game, Even if it was free. years of game development and Total Rubbish.
I've been playing this game every now and then since it first came out a while back, and I'm enjoying seeing it grow, and getting better and better. Yes, there are bugs, but the developers seem active, and always working on updates to squash the bugs. The map is quite large, and had some more points of interest added to it recently. It's still a w.i.p. so it's not perfect right now, but it's still fun to play after updates checking out new content, base building, a.i. and stuff like that.
I've played survival type games for more than 2 decades now. This game has great potential!! I hope the devs fix the 50+ bugs that exists. I know the game is in Alpha, but randomly dying, disapering items, Items like weapons after you pick them up reappearing where they were picked up from, not being able to unload weapon mags to fill them with more rounds to reload it, taking 2 RL minutes to forage 1 bush for a single branch of wood to make a torch, fixing the bag in bag bug and soooo many more. Anyhow, in short my two cents worth is wait till at least beta comes out if it ever comes out.
This is an Alpha release and even the developers express they are not happy with the current status of the game which is why i shant be giving this a reccomendation to anyone looking for a fun game to play. Dont buy it and then moan about how it is, its not doing any favours for anyone.. I have encountered a fair few bugs in the fairly short time of playing which i have reported. The game however is full of potential and i hope this early alpha does not effect its success upon full release. 90% of the graphics look great and once the animals and other AI have been re-intergrated, this game will be very immersive and i can see lots of time being spent exploring the vast world. Im not going to keep playing at this time however will keep reporting upon patch updates and bug fixes. Generally this is a game im looking forward to play upon full completion.
