Please follow United Critics for quality reviews
Good things:
It is almost working and you can find gold camp fires to get achievements. Voice acting in this game is super bland and because of this it is super funny.
Bad things:
“Find 2 Smith guys From Island. They have you 2 missions” this is what greets you in the game. Also the game real name is both lost island and li li as this is how the game is named after you do alt-tab. At the start you also find sword and 2 guns in the sand but you can only pick one of the guns as the other one is just an empty asset placed there and no one knows why it even exists in the game if it can’t be picked and used. You can also see that all the items levitate above the ground. This shows how great the game is and how much work the developer put into making this game. I hope it was not more than 4 hours. I also loved how the first enemy when you kill him duplicates and one lies on the ground dying while the other one just stands still before both of them disappear. It is also nice to see shadow of a box on the beach while there is no box anywhere even not in the sky. I also loved how items are named to show how no one cared about the game while making it. A hat is a helmet armor, some strange belts are called body armor a piece of wood or stone is called wood part and stone part etc. There are 2 quests and both are broken. The one about finding a photo is not working as when you find the photo you can’t pick it up it only says press to interact gold and the other one about saving the people is badly coded so all you have to do to finish it is to speak to quest giver again and the quest is completed. I also menage to break my hero by pressing 1 2 3 4 fast to change weapons and I became just legs with no other body parts. You can even kind a key on the ground called radio and you can open the doors without needing that key that are just randomly placed and lead nowhere as these are just a door with a frame standing on sand. The car dives like a piece of trash on ice. This is also said to be a survival game and you get a fishing rod that you will never need because there is a ton of food in the camp where the only 2 friendly NPCs exists and there is also a ton of food everywhere else in barrels. The food and water indicators gets empty fast so you have to eat a few food items and drink 2-3 bottles of water every 5 minutes. Best part is that food is useless and you won’t die even when food and water indicators are empty – I learned this by pausing the game and going to shop to buy vodka so I will be able to play this game – it also showed me that the pause does not work and does not stop the game. I was even able to fall thru the game world or to drive with a car at the bottom of the sea and drive out and that made the water level rise in the whole game world flooding everything and moving the height of water by about one or two meters higher than before. This game is a complete mess.
Conclusion
You will spend more time looking for golden camp fires to get achievements than the developer did spend on making this thing someone would call a game. Overall score 0.5/10
The game is too short :( I would have liked more gameplay time. sucks
fun for fun...NO!
Warning: Asset Flip! Lost Island is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of stolen Synty Studios low poly assets and dumped them lazily onto an Unreal Engine third person shooter/brawler/adventure game template. It has no value or merit as a real game. Ruskija game experience/Tero Lunkka/Valkeala Software have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Lawnmower Game: Pinball" = Pinball Construction Kit developed by Epic Games
"Nash Racing" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
"Nash Racing 2" = Advanced Tuning Cars developed by James Novih
"Aliens Dont Exist" = Alien Character - Free Sprite developed by Craftpix
"The Warrior Of Treasures" = Dynamic Combat System developed by Grzegorz Szewczyk
"Survival Isolation" = Easy Survival RPG v3 developed by Easy Systems
"Thirsty Bubble" = Low Poly Scenario Pack+POLYGON Knights Pack+Simple Dungeons developed by
"Fancy the Frog" = Pixel Adventure 1 developed by Pixel Frog
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 6 players, and the worst part is these weren't genuine players, these were the Russian fake review accounts that the developer paid to make the fake reviews. Since the fake reviews are all done, now the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk.
Warning: Review Manipulation! This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product.
So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Lost Island is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
You're lost I'm lost let's Shoot each other on this island? Guessing gaming dev starter pack. Cool pack idea for building a beginners game. REALLY wish I could have something like this to work with. Game could have been working on. One quest. I really did like finding the golden campfires! #lostisland
Gra wymaga dopracowania i to solidnego, nowych map, misji, aktywności bądź trybu kooperacyjnego / wieloosobowego.
Podsumowanie:
Lost Island to ciekawy niskobudżetowy growy projekt, który odczuwalnie jest jeszcze we wczesnej fazie projektowania – krótka, lecz przyjemna odskocznia od innych rozbudowanych tytułów.
