Several issues that make it worse than most artifex mundi games.
나쁘진 않았는데 1편이 스토리나 진행에서 훨씬 더 재밌었음. 특히 연금술 할 때 구술 꿰기가 개노잼
It was a fun hidden object game

Lost Grimoires 2: Shard of Mystery is a traditional yet carefully polished fantasy hidden-object adventure that embraces familiarity and comfort over reinvention. Developed by World-Loom and published by Artifex Mundi, the game continues the studio’s well-established formula of story-driven exploration, object hunting, and light puzzle solving. Rather than pushing boundaries, it focuses on delivering a smooth, accessible experience that caters directly to fans of narrative casual adventures who value atmosphere, clarity, and steady progression. The story unfolds in a magical kingdom still haunted by the remnants of a past calamity. Years after the defeat of the witch Drosera, peace is once again threatened when Prince Fern mysteriously vanishes on the eve of his coronation. Players assume the role of the royal alchemist, a protagonist whose practical intelligence and magical expertise guide the investigation. The narrative structure is straightforward, moving from location to location as new revelations surface, but it maintains a consistent sense of purpose that ties exploration to story advancement. While the plot rarely surprises, it provides a cohesive backdrop that supports the game’s puzzle-focused design. Exploration is presented through a series of richly illustrated 2D environments, each filled with interactive elements and visual detail. From forest clearings to ancient chambers and castle interiors, the game’s settings are designed to feel storybook-like, reinforcing the fairy-tale tone. Progression is driven by unlocking new areas, gathering key items, and using them logically within the environment. The pacing is intentionally relaxed, encouraging methodical play rather than rapid problem-solving, which makes the experience approachable for players new to the genre. Hidden object scenes form the backbone of gameplay, appearing regularly as gateways to new tools and story beats. These sequences ask players to locate items from a list within densely populated scenes, sometimes incorporating silhouettes or fragmented objects for added variety. The difficulty remains gentle throughout, prioritizing visual observation over trickery. For seasoned hidden-object players, these sections may feel familiar to the point of predictability, but they are cleanly designed and rarely frustrating, reinforcing the game’s identity as a low-stress adventure. Complementing the hidden object mechanics are a variety of standalone puzzles that require logic, pattern recognition, or simple experimentation. These include lock mechanisms, symbol alignment challenges, and environmental interactions that break up the object-search flow. The most distinctive feature among these is the alchemy system, where players brew potions by combining ingredients through a match-style interface. This mechanic ties directly into the protagonist’s role and adds thematic cohesion while offering a change of pace from traditional puzzles. Although not especially complex, the alchemy sequences provide a pleasant diversion that reinforces the magical setting. Presentation is one of the game’s strongest aspects. The hand-drawn art style is colorful and detailed without being cluttered, and the fantasy aesthetic remains consistent across all locations. Subtle animations and visual effects add life to the environments, while the interface is clear and readable. Sound design is understated, relying on ambient music and light effects rather than dramatic scoring. Voice acting and dialogue delivery are serviceable, supporting the narrative without drawing excessive attention to themselves. As with many titles in Artifex Mundi’s catalog, repetition is the game’s most noticeable limitation. The structure and mechanics follow a familiar rhythm that changes little over the course of the adventure. Players looking for escalating challenge or mechanical depth may find the experience too safe, particularly as puzzles rarely demand extended problem-solving. However, this consistency can also be seen as a strength, offering a dependable experience that never overwhelms or obstructs progress. Replayability is modest, primarily supported by optional collectibles and achievements rather than branching narrative paths or radically different outcomes. Once the story concludes, there are few reasons to return beyond completionist goals. Still, the overall runtime is compact enough that the experience rarely outstays its welcome, making it well-suited for players seeking a self-contained fantasy adventure rather than a long-term commitment. Ultimately, Lost Grimoires 2: Shard of Mystery succeeds by delivering exactly what it promises: a polished, approachable hidden-object adventure wrapped in a magical narrative. It does not attempt to redefine the genre, but it executes its formula with confidence and care. For fans of fantasy-themed casual games, or players looking for a relaxing story-driven puzzle experience, it offers a pleasant journey through an enchanted world where progress is guided by observation, logic, and a touch of alchemy rather than pressure or complexity.
