sehr gut.
Fun platform with a variety of though provoking challenges and a soothing atmosphere
Love this. Exactly what a platformer should be, one of those games that i'm still playing in my sleep after I go to bed. Level design is beautiful. Promising studio, looking forward to what they come up with next
Fun fast paced platforming, with excellent level variety. Its been a while since I have played platformer, and this one was refreshing.
solid plat-former and interesting story. Collecting things is always fun! Would recommend a public time-trial and record board for friendly competition! Excited to see what Three-Toad Studios will do in the future.
tldr: just want a gameplay video? its below the review Its a platformer about helping yourself through dream therapy. I'll start off with what I enjoyed about my small playtime in the game and then move on to what I did not enjoy. What I enjoyed

Most of the jumps do seem to give you a fair bit of leeway as long as 'learning is acquired' from missing jumps previously, or if you just get the hang of its feel right away. Most of the time I fell off I was trying to go full-benny too often instead of taking a more controlled approach.
The game has a nice relaxing feel to it in the sections I played. Nice ambiance in the forest levels. I really do love rain and bird call sounds in a non-hectic environment. Perhaps it gets hectic later on, but for what I experienced it was super relaxing.
There are collectibles to give you something to do other than just jump which even unlock bonus levels. Rewarded for exploring and collecting that you otherwise don't need to do.
It contains a time trial mode if you like speed running stuff.
What I did not like

The game is momentum driven. Which inherently is not bad, except your character feels 'floaty'. This means if you skirt the ground slightly after a big jump and go to turn and jump again your momentum actually will carrying you in a diagonal vector instead of a horizontal one! This includes the double jump. You have very minor air control. This is entirely preference, but I love snappy double jumps that let you redirect yourself.
There is a lighting issue that pops up that is super distracting. Sometimes the lights just "wink out". If an object gets in the way between you and the light source then it has a fairly good chance to disable the lighting entirely for a moment. Think of it like a blinking effect. (this can be seen in my "thoughts" section in my video posted below, as i tried to trigger it on purpose).
the sensitivity slider simply does not work. It has two modes: Full HAM or Molasses in Winter. I just set my mouse's third profile to a very slow speed and kept it on Full HAM mode. The Slider also resets itself to the highest setting in between levels.
all in all though, I liked the game a bit more than I disliked it. So if you enjoy platformers with a floaty feel to them, then you will enjoy this game. Contains about 38 minutes of gameplay. https://youtu.be/uqCYtCAaWMw
Fun platformer game! 1st world is pretty trippy but the 2nd and 3rd world's are closer to a classic forest/desert canyon style. Found it a lot of fun using a controller (menus still need controller support, but it's only needed to continue to next levels) and the game gives you just enough speed and jump control to try and hit tougher but faster paths. Difficulty is solid and not too hard so far (maybe that changes post 3rd world) but also excited to see the time trials feature added to give some more incentive to try some tricky shortcuts.
Very fun platformer, with an interesting plot and exploratory levels in the players dreamscape. Well worth the price :)
Eh... I'll cut to the chase here. Pros: - The game looks nice. - The level design is actually pretty cool! ...in the first world. Cons: - The level design imo after the first world becomes... eh. Well I can only speak for the second world, because that's all I made it up to, but there was a maze level which was dumb to navigate, and found the exit basically by chance after only getting 1/3 of the collectibles. And then it throws you into open world levels all of a sudden after all those linear ones, and it just feels... kinda wrong for this kinda game, idk. Kinda destroyed my enjoyment for the game though, so I stopped there. Maybe y'all will like it better than me. - The story is... a bit weird, and feels a bit out of place, idk. I wasn't really paying much attention to it since it never really grabbed me. - Very basic UI for a paid game. - Text doesn't even fit inside textbox borders properly sometimes (again, paid game). - You literally can't control your character after jumping (well you can but... you can only slow them down EVER so slightly, but that's it). Once you've jumped, that's basically it, and you have to pray you land safely. This leads to a bit of trial and error sometimes I feel. There's a double jump, but it only helps in certain situations really. I had some fun with this but... no offense, I personally think this game's worth like £1 or 2 at best. Might pick it back up at some point, but for now... Not really vibing with it personally, sorry.
I'm new to the gaming world and super happy Lost but Lucid was one of my first purchases. Although I found it quite challenging for a new gamer like myself, the storyline hooked me in and kept me going as I played. Love the variety of levels and looking forward to exploring more of the game!
