it doesn't work. my character is just a stretchy spaghetti mess.
I gotta say, I honestly really like the game as it is right now! The aesthetic is charming as all heck, and a pleasure to hear as well. I really enjoy the 3d models on a 2d perspective the game goes for. The level design is pretty simple but also very enjoyable to go through! And the stickers are a really nice collectible to try and nab, especially with all the different nicknames they have. My main complaint is unfortunately the controls. Controls usually make or break platformers for me, and unfortunately my preferred playstyle (an Xbox controller) is not fully supported. The only actions I got to work with it were jumping, moving around and navigating the menus. If native controller support was fully implemented, I could see me and honestly a lot more people find enjoyment in this game, but as it stands its an incredibly charming game that I'll go back to every now and then.

Generally, from start to finish, everything was an incredible time! The gameplay was fun and engaging, all of the levels were pretty fun, if you don't count the first level since it's technically tutorial stuff, and my time playing was completely bug free! I think just about everything with the game went pretty smooth, though there were a few things that could be touched up on in my eyes: - Wish the music wasn't so loud by default. Maybe I had my headphones up too loud, but if I'm a notch or two away from turning the music off for it to feel bearable, it's probably a bit too high. - Green car enemies in level 2 could maybe not turn around as fast, felt like I already needed to jump again right after hitting the ground with how fast he turns - Phase 2 on the ghost boss felt really cluttered, maybe slowing him down or giving him more knockback on a hit would make it better. Moving on the grates can already feel slow, but avoiding him given his speed and low knockback can feel a little overwhelming - Change up the final boss's beam attack a bit. Maybe make it happen less often or not track you as fast, I always felt like the beam was RIGHT on me whenever I was trying to move around Other than my recommendations, I would totally give the game another go if more gets added!
cute game. i miss when i was happy
I would like to give my honest feedback for this game starting with its pros: Pros To start lost bits really surprised me. As some other reviewers have mentioned, the game certainly starts slow (somewhat of a con). So much so to where my expectations were quite low. However, by the third level you can clearly see the complexity and difficulty go up. Even the second boss took me a couple tries which caught me by surprise. I pretty quickly felt myself getting better at the game as I was switching weapons and sliding around. I can potentially see this game as something people would speed-run. I was pleasantly surprised by this and it really made me enjoy the game a lot more because there is a lot that I already like about this game. This game has a ton of character. The art style, the sound track (immaculate), the character itself, the level loader, weapons and bosses. Everything about this was extremely enjoyable for my eyes and ears. The art style is great and everything felt like it belonged in this universe. Cons I only have minor things to say here. Sometimes I noticed when moving up in a level (when my character reached the top of the screen), if I jumped out of frame, the camera wouldn't always switch or it would prematurely (depending how far off the screen my character was). This made is difficult to see what was in the next part of the level because sometimes my camera would be bouncing between the two frames of the level (not sure if any of that makes sense). I also noted that the character felt a little slow personally. I just felt the character was moving just a bit too slow causing the game to be a bit too easy or boring at times. While still enjoyable to fight against, I think bosses would benefit from more varying move sets. Once you understood the order it became very robotic. Perhaps just more move sets as well would be good. All in all, great game and I am excited to see how it develops!
Very fun little platformer with a boppin' OST, definitely worth a play. My only minor gripes are that the gun feels pointless to use and I wish the boss fights had their own music.
3 things to say: 1. Freakin awesome! 2. Coolest looking graphics of the year 3. Coolest gameplay of the year 4. Freakin awesome!
This game was pretty fun. it reminded me of the when I was a kid playing super Mario bros. I really liked the sound design and art style. The level select screen was super cool and a great way to switch between levels. my favorite part about the game was after finishing a level trying to speed run it. overall good game would very much recommend.
This game was actually a lot of fun and super cute. The whole idea of this penguin robot guy just jumping through computers to play different discs was so cool. Overall I really enjoyed this super cute game.
The gamplay is fun, the level design is great, and the sound design is amazing! Fantastic deal for a free game :)
