Lost Alone Ultimate

Hands down one of the worst horror games I have played in my entire life, it was so bad that I'm gonna give it a positive review because it impressed me how bad it was

There were good parts to the game, but with the AI slop abound on the walls, it CANNOT be given a good review. The sound design and general ambiance of the first chapter was excellent: it kept us on our toes and scared us many times. The second and third chapters not as well, but that was definitely not helped by the slop. Remove the AI and the game was decent. Steam also needs to say this has AI. We saw comments saying it had AI but, as Steam itself did not have the disclaimer we were unsure until we were playing. Again, for a solo developer, the horror vibes were spot on, especially in the first part. But in order to make it a good game, he needs to use proper assets.

Parto con il dire che io vivo a pane e horror. Ho giocato un sacco di giochi con gameplay di ogni tipo e, senza fare pubblicità, nell'ultimo che ho giocato ho sbadigliato dalla noia! (gioco definito Horror per eccellenza) Questo gioco è semplicemente stupendo! 9 ore (compreso il dlc) e mi sono spaventato ogni volta! Anche se cercavo di "fregare il sistema" sono stato fregato puntualmente ogni volta! Storia interessante, musica coinvolgente e enigmi che ti sembrano semplici nel complesso, ma con l'attenzione sempre alla salute e all'ambiente, diventano intriganti da completare! Consiglio tantissimo di iniziare con questa versione migliorata e di seguire lo sviluppatore che uno Youtuber fantastico. Complimenti per l'impegno e la fantasia Daniele! Continua così, io intanto mi preparo a giocare i prossimi tuoi giochi ^^

Fist things first: This is an updated Trilogy of the previous Lost Alone Games. So the main plot is the same except the game has been massively updated. For a one man Project this game is really fun. Quite a few nods to pop culture. The game itself has a predictable game mechanic whic is a good case. Explore as long as you have power. Keep candles on when the power stops and try to restore it ASAP while continuing with the plot. Sure... Everything has been in a budget. That means narrative is limited to one Actor and i get the impression the actor also is a Text to Speech Model but it´s there for each language. German - my native language is stable enough to follow. And the main character still sounds believable enough. It doesn´t ruin the game. It isn´t perfect but entertained me. You can support this one without being worried too much.

Buen juego conforme avanza la historia mas ganas tienes de desvelar el final.

amazing game i would play again

good horror adventure. A deep unsettling horror story about a man which has problems and who did unspeakable things to his family. a bit critique: I often died because of the shadows which was annoying. Towards the end the game got a bit repetative. There are random spooky noises which are played in the game. At first this is interesting, but wears off very fast, once you understand that theses noises are nothing but just random and have no effect at all. Would be great when there would be at least some interaction for example you hear dishes break and then you actually see some dishes falling on the floor. About the AI art: the images are ful of artifacts and so on. is this on purpose? I mean AI can do much better things, really.

It's a good game with an interesting story and jump scares and sound effects, but I will say that for some reason the character voices, in English at least, do give off weird AI generated voice over kind of vibes. I think it's just what's been used to translate it or something like that, but I'll admit that it's a little off putting and it makes it challenging to get into the game initially, especially in the intro scene where they're explaining the backstory. Other reviewers are right too, the AI generated assets are distracting and they do kind of throw off the mood at times
