Remember uncle June from "The Sopranos" when he saying "What a F..... ♥♥♥♥, i can't take it anymore?" That's what i genuinely think about this game. I didn’t just play Lords of the Black Sun. I survived it. This game isn’t a 4X strategy game. It’s a 4X trauma simulator. If you want a 4X game, buy Stellaris. If you want to feel like you’re being punished for existing, buy Lords of the Black Sun.
In one way I really like the game. But the reason why I have an issue with it is that is crashes out. Nothing worse than winning a 5 ship battle then the games crashes out on you as a reward for your victory. Then every time you try to replay that battle it crashes out again. If this could be fixed, it would be a cool game, but until then...
Remember? When the game name was even different? How bad does a game have to suck that you have to change the name only for it to suck more?
Empfehlenswert: Nein (persönliche Wertung: 3/10) Errungenschaften: Ja Positiv: - Verschiedene Alien-Rassen Negativ: - Viele Abstürze - Frustrierende Fehler Fazit: Was habe ich mir hier angetan? Anfang 2022 habe ich zum ersten Mal Lords of the Black Sun gespielt.
Tons of bugs... especially in full screen mode at 1920 x1080 resolution. Everything turned sepia or grayscale... and even planets could not be selected. Luckily, I could return to windowed mode and after many attempts (and tweaking the settings and options), the game finally looked something like the screenshots above, while the game plays along like an alpha release. Obviously, the UI is ridiculously simplistic, but there is a game underneath it all. Is it worth it? No, of course not. Any company who releases a game in this state should immediately go under... it's in such an embarrassing state and unabashedly a gaming and software engineering dud! Don't buy this!
boring crap
A pretty bland 4X game. Only pick it up on a sale if you are a fan of the genre.
i hate this game because everyone else does..
3/10 I LOVE a good 4X game. This is not a good one...
