Ready to bend the rules? So are these cats.
They might look like your friends—but these cheeky lil dudes are complete wildcards. (Just like real cats)
You have been warned, my friend.

(Yes, I, the dev, have been soft-locked by cats in the past. No, I am not proud of that)

I would place this firmly in the "Engine Building" genre, which for some reason isn't a tag here. If you love that genre of board game though, Loot Plot is for you. The boards can get out of hand but I love that bigger doesn't really mean better here. My best board was a tight little board, no bigger than maybe 10x10 with most of the action in a 3x3 grid that was just retriggering multipliers for so long I had time to eat a cookie while listening to the sound of numbers going up. It really rewards planning and thought and full use of every plot and item you have. Glad I stumbled on this, been looking for something since 100% crop rotation. I agree with others though, an endless mode would rock.

It's already quite fun, but since we've already designed hundreds of various effect icons, I think we can continue exploring in terms of gameplay mechanics.
Awesome indie game that takes Balatro scoring to a whole new level. Would 100% recommend adding an infinite mode that let's you limit test your run!
I really enjoy this game It is really fun if I have to put my $0.02 in I wish there was a custom mode where you can make your own challenges
I really wish there was a 'eh' option for positive or negative review. Enjoyable. 100% a dopamine generator. Replayable until it isn't. Once you've beat it 2-3 times, every run feels the same. I don't think I've actually lost a single run; the closest I came was getting the points I needed to beat the first round by turn 4. 100% worth the cost of entry, but it can get tedious and very samey pretty quick, with the starting modes not really feeling any different from one another.
The game is great. I had to delete it at some point because I was spending too much time on it. The development is interesting and I'll be returning when ever there is a new update. I'd like to see more different types of challenges and achievements. Maybe an achievement for getting 1,000 bucks or being in debt for the same amount and erasing the debt in some way, getting to a negative round number on level 2 or getting 1,000,000 points as some examples. There is a way to play for ever but there could be a proper infinite mode where the points needed just go up and up. Maybe a challenge where you need to buy more sky if you want more space.
Its a simple game that get more complicated as you play, its the perfect mix of strategy and gambling. Rerolling shop slots and planning carefully where your items should go to optimise points through bonus and multiplier combinations. There are a tonne of unique slots and items that trigger under specific conditions. They can be hard to come by but can be complete game changers! ive played over a hundred hours and I'm about half way through. For strategy heads a 100% recommend.
It was really good. It gets same-y after beating everything on easy though. Plus that's gets you all of the achievements and unlocks, it kinda petters out. It's still plenty of fun and I got nearly 20 hours from it.
One-more-turn syndrome on steroids.
