I played the bulk of the game somewhere after 2015, i basically reached the end-point of the progression. But recently i decided to get the rest of the achievements and i've finished that now. This is basically a casual simple version of Pirates! where the stupid dances and fighting rhythm-games are replaced with a tile-matching game. It's fun in the beginning, when you get new loot and are progressing towards the bigger ships. But pretty soon you hit the endgame where you have nowhere to grow and the best way to fight is to build your setup around spamming action points attack, ignoring the match-three entirely. The game is endless and you can neither look for your missing relatives nor hit the retire button. That's why i haven't wrote about it at the time — i didn't feel the catharsis. The only thing was left to do is to grind the very grindy achievements and i got bored. Most of them are manageable. The acquisition of land through monotone questing can take some time. But collecting the RNG-dropped treasure maps will take longer than anything before that combined. I was at 50 out of 100 when i finished everything else, even getting the land, and people on the Steam forums report about the same milestones. And speaking about the RNG, until the very end i was still sometimes getting new artefacts. They could've been useful in the early game, but not when i've spent about 4/5 of the playtime just grinding for the achievement. It's fun for a casual short play. It is really not that different from the both versions of Pirates! but the lack of any conclusion, even a retirement button can left a portion of the players unsatisfied.

I really can't believe that I use up so many hours to play this game. Mostly to get the achievements done. But that last treasure hunt one takes up so much time.... and it's still fun!
This is a really small and basic game, but I enjoyed the couple of hours it gave me.
Příjemná, jednoduchá a silně návyková hra. Se svojí lodí brázdíte moře, lacině nakupujete zboží a draze ho prodáte tam, kde je ho třeba. Hru vřele doporučuji, jsem spokojen.
Fun little time waster trading - got that exploreing - got that questing - got that match 3 baced combat ..... um - got that Level up your ship. fight pirates, and explore your placemat size world. But don't expect deep game play. This game is just a time waster when you need to kill a 5 min or so (rendering video, at buss stop, pooping) **Touch screen compatible**
