About
Loopbound is a narrative incremental game where you play as a traveller trapped in a time loop. Each cycle brings you a little closer to unravelling the mystery of your existence as you explore different eras and dimensions and make choices that shape your path.
In each cycle you gather resources, face decay and survival, and unlock new actions and worlds. What you achieve in one cycle carries over to the next, so each run takes you further. The story unfolds through the places you visit and the events you encounter along the way.
Key features:
Loops with persistent progression: Die, respawn, and try again; permanent upgrades and unlocked automation carry over between cycles.
Survival and decay: Manage hunger, poison, and resources; time and your actions affect your condition and your options.
Multiple worlds: Journey through different worlds, each with its own rules and possibilities.
Skill system: Level up skills that speed up actions and unlock new options.
Automation: After repeating tasks manually, you can automate them to progress while you plan your next move.
Integrated narrative: The story is built from world states, events, and the choices you make in each loop.
Cloud save: Your save syncs with Steam Cloud so you can continue on another device.
If you like incrementals with story and a touch of survival, Loopbound invites you to live the loop again and again until you discover what lies behind it.

Es muy entretenido
Similar repetitive survival strategy game to Doctor Who.

I've only been playing for 4 hours, but I'm really enjoying it. This is my first time playing this type of game, and even though I thought I wouldn't like it, I'm absolutely loving it. It has a great balance between idle and active play, and the progression feels like it's moving at a reasonable pace. Only one downside so far: I feel like the 'food trap' at the beginning of the desert comes a bit too early for those of us who are new to the genre. With more experience, you'd probably spot it sooner, but I've lost several cycles to that trap. The quality is very good for an EA version. I'll update my review as I progress, but so far, so good.
Fun game to run in the background while working. Props to the dev :D
Boring plot, no real visuals, and unexciting gameplay that boils down to pressing the same buttons on repeat until you've done it enough times that the game lets you progress. Even the supposed "difficult area" only has a basic traversal restriction, which matters very little since you'll just spam training then make a loop. The incentives to do past areas again are abysmally low, so much so that until you have several unlocked for greater time skip speed it is never better to do them. From the forum post on AI usage the dev seems to think that they've got a good enough grasp on interesting mechanics to forego the story and visuals to a large extent, but they really don't. It doesn't matter how complicated the different resources are to keep track of in your head when any player can easily beat almost any section through sheer brute force. Terrible.
